Australian HR Manager of the Year

This award recognises an individual who has demonstrated excellence at the management level over the past 12 months. Eligible finalists were mid-level leaders who look after up to 1,000 employees. Finalists were judged on their leadership, communication, strategy, drive and results.

As a finalist for the Australian HR Manager of the Year 2020 and 2021 awards, Robert Feltrin is passionate about aligning business strategy with people strategy to help create a sustainable organisation. Currently general manager – OD at A S Harrison & Co, Feltrin has achieved some incredible goals with his team. They have successfully implemented and delivered an HR strategy that has incorporated a number of initiatives – from implementing a mental health and L&D framework to enabling the organisation to reach new record-high engagement scores through its EVP and R&R Program. This has led to AS Harrison & Co being recognised as an HRD Employer of Choice in 2020 and 2021.

The HR team at A S Harrison & Co are seen as positive disrupters within the HR industry, challenging what is normality but at the same time always putting people first at the core of what they do. The COVID pandemic has meant the HR rule book has had to be rewritten, yet the HR team at A S Harrison & Co, led by Robert Feltrin, have successfully embedded the ethos of “Working with Covid” within their culture and surroundings.
