Work History
Manager, New Orleans The Creole Creamery

August 2006 - Present

As a regular employee I prepared and served customers their frozen desserts. I also stocked and cleaned when necessary. As a shift manager, I perform all of the same duties as a regular employee while overseeing the shift. This means I am entrusted with the money, make any major decisions of the shift, and ensure that all tasks were carried out correctly.

Attended professional conferences: ACEI Conference (March 2011), LAEYC Conference (July 2011), and LAECA Conference (October 2011). I have participated in a KaBOOM! playground build in New Orleans to promote outdoor play in young children and advocate for the importance of nature and outdoor activity in childrenʼs lives (see link on my website).
