Spanning at 1.65 million square feet, the indoor amusement park is home to some of the world’s beloved cartoon characters and superheroes that are bound to enlighten the young and young at heart. The park is divided into six exciting categories — Metropolis, Gotham City, Cartoon Junction, Dynamite Gulch, Bedrock and the Warner Bros. Plaza — and each section is ready to captivate audiences with its iconic settings. Guests are spoilt for choice with 29 state-of-the-art rides and fun shows, alongside interactive attractions that promise fun for the entire family. Live entertainment, as well as dining options and shopping outlets, are set to create a memorable experience. Warner Bros. Abu Dhabi was established following the demand for exciting amusement parks in the country. Furthermore, as the UAE aims to welcome millions of tourists by 2020, it is only natural to set up more family- centric leisure and entertainment ventures, and of course, cater to adrenaline junkies. The theme park was brought to reality by Miral, alongside the efforts of several organisations that worked on different aspects of the venue. Among these is the UAE-based premier theme contractor Aspen Creations that assisted in the supply and installation of themed facades, rockwork, props, foliage, signage and

flooring. Similarly, Thinkwell played a notable role on the park’s master plan and concept design, while Metsec is the company behind the supply of purlins for construction purposes. Explore the magical world of Warner Bros. Abu Dhabi Warner Bros. Plaza: Central to the theme park, the section celebrates the best of Warner and Golden Age of Hollywood. Indulge in impressive architecture and picturesque sets, and meet characters that are iconic to Warner Bros. legacy. Besides hosting the portal to five other lands, visitors can explore an assortment of cafes and restaurants, cleverly named after notable cartoon series, and pick up trinkets, tokens and other keepsakes centred on the theme. Bedrock: Step back into the stone ages at the Flintstones’ turf, Bedrock. Visitors can explore iconic features of the cartoon complete with lovable characters ranging from Fred

Flintstone to Pebbles and BammBamm. Unwind on a scenic boat tour aboard the Bedrock River Adventure that’s bound to get you soaked, sink your teeth into massive portions of delectable at Bronto Burgers & Ribs or Mammoth Munchies, or take home a memento from the Bedrock Boutique. Dynamite Gulch: Reminisce the neverending quest of Wile E. Coyote as he attempts to catch the Road Runner in the thrilling Fast and Furry-ous rollercoaster ride. If wild’s not your style, then hop on The Jetson’s Cosmic Orbiter for a spin or let the kids bump space pods at Marvin the Martian Crater Crashers. Don’t forget to pick up Southwest themed goodies from the Yosemite Sam Rootin’ Tootin’ Gas. Gotham City: Welcome to Batman’s dark hometown; we’re sure this one’s going to make DC comics fans squeal. The dizzying Scarecrow Scare Raid and rocking coaster at the Riddler Revolution, to the villainous twists at the Joker Funhouse and Rogues Gallery Games, are ready to test your limits! Expect to come across superheroes and villains out and about — from Batman and Catwoman to Harley Quinn and The Joker. Of course, the city is home to tempting dishes and treats, alongside memorabilia to take home. Metropolis: Superman’s territory has a range of thrill rides and attractions set to knock your socks off. Dare to ride the 5D Justice League Warworld Attacks, or the 4D Green Lantern: Galactic Odyssey, which is not for the faint-hearted!
