What I do / say -Greet Ss -Ask them about their day so far. -Ask Ss if they usually have class at 10 a.m. on Tuesday and what time they leave the center. -Introduce a video about people talking about their daily routine. -Ask Ss about what the people in the video are talking about. -Write the expression “daily routines” on the board. -Ask Ss about some daily routines related to school life. -Pre-teach the words: cafeteria and institute. -1st listening: Give Ss pictures and ask them to look at them for 30 secs. Then ask Ss to listen carefully and put the pictures in the correct order (individual work). (play it again if needed). Ask Ss to compare their answers in pairs then share them with the whole class. -2nd listening: Give instructions before giving Ss handouts. Ask Ss to listen again and choose the correct answer. Play the recording again for Ss to check their answers (individual work). Correction will be a whole class work.
