Practicum TWO Report CREMF Marrakech English Department Group 2 Teacher Trainee : Khalid Touile Host School : Salah Eddine Alayoubi High school, Almassira 2 Duration : One Week (from 3rd to 9th of Nov) Colleagues: Elhoucein Elasri, Ismail Ouani, Lamya Toubati and Hind Elamrani Once again, the objectives of this practicum, structured observation of teaching practices, was not met as the school principal expressed his apology for not being able to have us and politely asked us to leave. The reason according to him is that the school manager had been expelled and he couldn’t do anything about our situation especially that no official memo was communicated to the school administration about hosting CRMEF trainee teachers. Under these circumstances, we just stood clueless and helpless.

We recommend: 1) More coordination at the official level, 2) Informing or even meeting the mentors before assigning schools 3) Listening attentively to trainee teachers’ complaints 4) Demonstrating recognition of the trainees’ confusion and sacrifice Touile Khalid
