Set Your Budget First As excited as you are to start shopping, work out your budget first. it is better not to try on gowns outside of your price range. You’ll either end up falling in love and being disappointed by every other dress you see. One shop at a time Only visit one salon at a time. Going to several salons in one day can be tiring, especially the laborious task of getting in and out of heavy wedding gowns. The fatigue and stress will affect how you feel and the way you see yourself by the time you get to your last salon appointment. Don’t travel with an Entourage As you are searching for the perfect dress and you value the opinions of

your friends and family, remember that having 10 different opinions will make your task a lot harder to choose just one. For your first appointment only take 2 people. Once you have chosen the dress... Make a second appontment and bring on the Entourage Dress Rehearsal Your special day will be a long day ensure that you choose a dress that can keep up with you. When you try on each gown... try sitting, walk around, pin up and take down the bustle and imagine your first dance. Start Early Start dress shopping 8 to 10 months before the wedding. It can take up to two months to find the right gown and if you make a purchase it can tak another four months for the dress to arrive and two weeks for the dress to be alterter for your picture perfect fit. Weekdays are best Shop during the week while crowds are at a minimum. You’ll get more attention from the sales staff if you shop on a Wednesday morning rather than on a Saturday afternoon. style and cut that suits you perfectly. Armed with that information, from there you can find the same style in a fabric that’s less expensive.
