INSIDE: Poetry, Tigers, Featured article, Fun & Games , Book review WWW.HIPPIREVIEWS.WEEBLY.COM

From the editor’s desk... Welcome to our third issue of kidzlyfe! At kidzlyfe we believe that learning can be both interesting and fun. We believe that by giving children a platform to showcase their talents and share their knowledge they can learn from one another and perfect their skills. Kidzlyfe accepts all articles and artwork from children of primary school age but only the best get to be featured. We believe that they will motivate their readers to write, draw and/or think as best as their contributors. In conclusion, I would like to thank all parents for their support in the making of this magazine and encourage all parents to allow their children to forward their work to us. Kyendo Muli | Editor

SAVING MONEY WHILE YOUNG According to research ,most of the children around the world prefer saving their money than spending it. Saving money can help children to learn early how to save their money and how use it wisely.

By James Mutie Class 7

Saved money can be used to support the family when there is an emergency or to buy something you really want Children can save all the change they find in a piggy bank. Children can get money from the daily chores for which they may get paid. Some parents may agree to pay their children some tokens for extra work they do. Remember you can agree with your parent to do that when you finish your homework and your normal duties. You should not do extra work and just tell you parents "mom I have clean your shelves pay me "When your parent borrows money from you can ask them to return it to you with a token profit. Don’t make your profit too high. If you parents agree to raise it that will be okay. Save your money.

WHY I LIKE MUMMY SO MUCH

I like mummy so much because she combs my hair everyday. She washes my clothes and brushes my shoes. She makes my bed. She tells me stories of old people and children. She teaches me sums I didn’t know. She wants to make me a cleaver boy. She likes me because I don't disturb her when cooking. When I am sick she sits near me and looks after me very well. I like my mother and so does she. MY BROTHER

Mark

Sharks I

n some form, sharks have been around for about 400 million years. They are the ocean's top predators. Even before dinosaurs roamed the earth, sharks hunted through the oceans!

By Ndinda Muli Class 8

There are over 400 types of sharks -- at least 30 of these species have been known to attack humans. They range in size from 6 inches to 45 feet.

SHARK BABIES Baby sharks are called pups. There are three ways that sharks are born: eggs are laid (like birds)

Bull shark

eggs hatch inside the mother and then are born pups sharks grow inside the mother (like humans) Sharks can have from 1 to 100 babies at a time, depending on the type of shark. The ones with pups that grow inside the mother have fewer babies at a time than sharks that lay eggs outside the body. Sharks do not care for their babies after they are born, but they do search for a safe place where they can lay their eggs or give birth. Hippireviews.weebly.com
