THERE WAS A TIME‌ When FIMS students were a cool mystery to other faculties on campus. The FIMSSC planned their events and policies on alternative roots that fostered individuality, CONFIDENCE, and connectivity amongst the FIMS student body.

as fimssc president I will focus on... alumni pressure the faculty to release alumni contact information and support funding for speaker accommodations.
exams lets make exams less scary and intense! why not have free coffee and music before and congratulatory snacks for after.
MPP make sure student voices are heard...unlike the MTP discontinuation crisis of 2k16.
bring to life unique and alternative events to grow and build the fims family. ex Silent Disco or a first year Grand Bend Beach trip.

internships encourage administration to allow 1st and 2nd year students to participate in academic internships, which will challenge and push students to apply their knowledge from school to the real world.
wellness ensure that electronic accommodation continues to build so that students who are unwell are able to receive assistance without the trouble of physically going to campus. helping students in FIMS become more aware of the mental health resources available to them; not just services available on campus, but also the community of london.
activism organizing collective groups of people to take part in protests such as “Take Back the Night.�

work with Professors to create our own acts of productive civil disobedience.

transparency posting all newsworthy meeting updates in a quick summary on social media to ensure meeting topics are available to all. moving office hours out of a literal office. Instead, have council members sit in the entrance of FNB to promote student involvement.
showcase working with administration to allow students to rent out media equipment to encourage original student creations. create a designated space in FNB for FIMS students to showcase their creative work and view their fellow fims friends’ creations.
