My music taste changes very drastically on occasion but the only constant is R&B/hip-hop (see Dreamville Records).
The vacation I have been dreaming of since I was twelve years old is snowboarding in Alaska. I even spent years learning backcountry and snow safety in the Rocky Mountains with that trip in the back of my mind, though it has not come to fruition (yet).

My style is best described as “less is more” or maybe, approachable. For example, you will often catch me with a white shirt and a white pocket square because it doesn’t get any cleaner than that. I also tend to have a more laid back style in that you will rarely see me in a tie or dress slacks, and I currently have long hair and a beard.

Early style inspiration came from childhood trips abroad to Asia, Africa, India and the Caribbean, as well as from parental figures.

Isabel Marant is a French fashion designer known for her bohemian aesthetic. Marant was born in Paris in 1967 to a model mother and photographer father.
While some dream of iconic women in glossy magazines, Isabel dresses women for their real lives – walking down the street or zipping off on a scooter. She never takes a piece out of her workshop without trying it on herself. She has always encouraged handmade creations, and collection after collection has fought to keep traditional skills alive, an approach that she refers to as “the ecology of clothing”.
Twenty-five years and fifty-two boutiques later, everything and nothing has changed…. her vision remains the same. Isabel has always had a single-minded love of fashion. It was her love of clothing and materials that live and move that brought her to Studio Berçot, never to leave it.
In 1994 she set up her own label with a studio in the Marais district. She based her creations on her own style and tastes: “I am my first customer... My approach has always been: would I like to wear this garment?

In 1982, tired of not being able to find clothes she liked in stores, she began making pieces out of discarded fabric. A couple years later, at age 16, Marant’s earnings from selling her clothing to friends pushed her to ditch studying economics and take up design at the Studio Berçot fashion school in Paris in 1985. After school she interned with designers like: Michel Klein, Bridget Yorke, Chloé, and Yohji Yamamoto.
