What does Culture week achieve at the Mon Mrs Brosnan?

"This is our 10th year of culture week here at The Mon. I can't emphasise the importance and the unity it brings to our school, not just amongst the students but involving the parents who put a huge amount of effort in preparing dishes from over 40 different countries. It celebrates and gives understanding and respect to every student and educates us all on the cultures around the world. It brings a positive atmosphere and excitement buzzes throughout the school.

“We celebrate our differences but we also celebrate our similarities.

“The education of acceptance and the development of empathy and diversity from a young age is hugely important for the community and the world for the future of our children.”
