PACIFIC NORTHWEST

DISTRICT

In the midst of serene nature and fluctuating weather conditions lies the great Pacific Northwest District (PNW).The Pacific Northwest is geographically the largest district of Key Club International. The district spans from western Canada to northern California: with Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and the pan-handle of Idaho in between. The Pacific Northwest encompasses nearly 1.8 million square miles and includes over 300 clubs that operate under 45 divisions. Through rain or shine, snow or hail, Key Clubbers in the Pacific Northwest dedicate countless hours to their communities and internationally, and are always Proud 'N' Willing to serve!

03

What is Key Club?

Key Club International is the high school organization sponsored by Kiwanis International. Key Club assists Kiwanis in carrying out its mission to serve the children of the world.

04

What Do We Do?

Key Club members perform acts of service in their communities, such as cleaning up parks, organizing food drives, etc. They also learn leadership skills by holding elected leadership positions at the club, district and international levels.

Hello Division 32 Dragons, Spring has made volunteering feel so much better lately as we come together for earth day and the next months to come. As the sun shines on us, keep a warm heart to share with your home, school, and community. I also hope everyone had a fantastic first month with service and is ready for the all the new exciting events. Ranging from Joint DCM, Dance to Eliminate, and the memories we will make as a division. Also good job to those who took AP testing, I can honestly say that after such a tough week I can not wait for the next few events in key club. Choose to have fun these next few weeks as summer approaches and continue to work hard. Seniors, are you excited to graduate soon? Thank you for all your service! Feel free to message me to call me if you ever need any help!

In love and service, Kim Anh Tran

The DCM today was great! I was one of the volunteers for the Arbor and Earth Day event, and even though planting plants, and gardening in general is not my specialty, it really gave me an insight on how little things like this can really help my community. The division bonding afterwards was super fun too! I really liked how we played all the icebreakers to get to know each other. – Ashley Villanueva The DCM WAS AMAZINGGG! It was one of the best DCMs in a long time. I really enjoyed the ice breakers you had us play, especially the name game! Also the Dragon one. – Aleah Lucena

The Smell of Service is so good

As a club, the officers decided our goals are: - Diversifying the club - To not be bias with choosing volunteering; but also taking into account that our big, most volunteered events should be mostly to those that will attend DCON and need the hours. - Better promotion for the club and Key Club; like always, typically individuals believe we make keys (although that would be cool), I want them to know what we are all about and not just a "group of Asians." - To have more events for the members like football concession. Members really enjoy and volunteer for that event a lot and I want similar events that will garner their attention and bring out their spirit of volunteering. 09 - Kimberly Ly

Hey Key Clubbers! Come grab your friends for the first joint Divisional Council Meeting of the Key Club year! We're excited to be hosting an event that brings all the surrounding Seattle area divisions together as we get closer to summer. Join us in fun games, a miracle minute, and getting to know each other! Also, during the miracle minute: divisions will get the chance to pie their lieutenant governors for every $20 raised! Division 32 is in charge of main dishes!

Since every member matters, I will be providing each person with a box. This box will be Division 32's memories of the year. Each DCM I will provide a wallet side picture that represents what we have done that month together. There will also be letters and notes written to each other from time to time. But by the end of the school year we can leave with the memories of a life time and also continue the memories of service.

11

Raise money for The Eliminate Project by attending this Dance To Eliminate! All Key Clubbers and their guests are welcome! Tickets are $12 early bird and $14 at the door. As a division we will work together in raising 1000 points before the next DCON. WE are not meant to compete separately but as a division together. If we are able to earn 1000 points and become such a strong division, there will be a prize. Maybe prizes for each member or even punishment for your LTG. Be Excited to see the therometer Burst, and the toast be toasted. How to earn points: Increase in members Member Attendance DCM attendees Eliminate or projects Reports Kiwanis Meeting

OUR GOAL 1000 Points: Good work everyone! I will keep this updated next month. Sorry!
