purpose

THIS “CLIMATE CHANGE INDICATOR” INFOGRAPHIC IS GOING TO BE USED TO RAISE ENVIROMENTAL AWARENESS AND AT THE SAME TIME SHOW THE SKILL THAT LEARNED THROUGH THE WHOLE QUARTER.

project inpiration few years ago... DURING MIDDLE SCHOOL. MY FRIEND AND I, CLAIRE AND I HAD A FIGHT BECAUSE I REFUSED TO DONATE MONEY TO JAPAN AFTER A HUGE TSUNAMI. CLEARLY SHE MISUNDERSTOOD ME, BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT TO USE MY PARENTS MONEY FOR THAT, I WANTED TO WAIT TILL I CAN DO SOMETHING FOR THEM THROUGH MY OWN STRENGTH. HERE I HAD A CHANCE. TSUNAMI MAY BE ONE OF THE EFFECTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE, TO RAISE AWARENESS, I DECIDED TO DO AN INFOGRAPHIC ABOUT THIS.

INCREASE IN ACIDITY OVER THE PAST TWO DECADES When carbon dioxide dissolves in this ocean, carbonic acid is formed. This leads to higher acidity, mainly near the surface, which has been proven to inhibit shell growth in marine animals
