Adventures In Prayer
By Kim Matthews Some months ago, my church was doing an outreach to the surrounding areas. We were planning to sing praise and worship music in the bar section of a restaurant in the downtown area of our city. It was my job to hand out flyers, hang posters and talk to people about the event. One day I was driving around looking for places that I could leave flyers. No other customers were in the store, and when I got to the counter, no one was there, either. I called out, “Hello? Hello?” for about two minutes and no one answered. Finally a guy, looking annoyed, came from around the corner and said, “Can I help you?”
