grounds of a decaying mansion called Arcadia House. Arcadia follows this romantic utopian dream from its hopeful start through its heyday. Arcadia’s inhabitants include Handy, the charismatic leader; his wife, Astrid, a midwife; Abe, a master carpenter; Hannah, a baker and historian; and Abe and Hannah’s only child, Bit. While Arcadia rises and falls, Bit, too, ages and changes. He falls in love with Helle, Handy’s lovely, troubled daughter. And eventually he must face the world beyond Arcadia. About Lauren Groff: Lauren Groff was born in 1978 in Cooperstown, N.Y. She graduated from Amherst College and has an MFA in fiction from the University of WisconsinMadison. Her short stories have appeared in a number of journals, including the New Yorker and The Atlantic Monthly, and in the several anthologies. Her second book, Delicate Edible Birds, is a collection of stories. Her second novel, Arcadia, was published on March 13, 2012. She lives in Gainesville, Florida with her husband and two sons. excerpt from www.blog.wildirisbooks.com Page 3
WHAT / WHO'S COOKIN'? by Nancy Breeze A friend of mine said that, when she left the house, she always checked that the toilets weren't running, and the doors were locked. But she did NOT look to see if the stove and oven were on, 'because she hadn't used them in years!' I'm possibly one of the few people who can relate to that statement. Once I left the marriage and hung up my apron, I discovered many ways to eat without entering a kitchen. At first I lived in Washington, D.C., and after work I could get great carry-out from People's Drug. Newly living in 'the south' (compared to Michigan), I loved the mild winter. I eagerly indulged what I called 'eating out.' That meant taking this ‘70s version of 'fast food' to a lovely sunset spot -maybe at the Washington Monument or 'P Street Beach,' a creek-side area near Du Pont Circle. Still, I always fixed my own breakfast (granola, yogurt, O.J.) and lunch (sandwiches and fruit). Weekends at home, I splurged -- cornmeal pancakes with honey and browned tofu. Later, in Florida, I found a more convenient form of 'carry out food' -- Pemmican Dinner Bars, said to contain most nutritional needs. I treasured those evenings by the waterfront in downtown St. Augustine, where I ate my Pemmican and drank a cup of coffee. The pleasure came from classical music on my headphones and whatever I was reading at the time, plus the dolphins and sailboats. (Only once did a tourist drop a quarter in my empty coffee cup!) And yes, several times a week I joined friends at restaurants, for what most consider 'real food.' These eating habits sometimes became a topic of conversation. There were rumors that my refrigerator was empty -patently false! I ALWAYS had yogurt, orange juice, cheese, tofu, and fruit in there. But one time a visiting friend actually brought her camera to document all that! Soon I became involved in a relationship with someone who took a very dim view of my dinner routine. She decided to have the food ready when I arrived from work. One time the menu included roasted corn on the cob, still in the husks. Apparently, we did not actually consume everything however. The only way I know is that, two years later, when we were no longer 'an item,' we collaborated to host a party of friends from Gainesville. It was a potluck, and one woman brought a dish that needed to be re-warmed. I steered her toward the kitchen, trusting she would be able to figure out the oven controls better than I ever could. Shortly, however, instead of returning to the living room, she let out a 'yelp!' "There's SOMETHING IN THERE!" she cried, slamming the oven door. "I think it's DEAD!" She hesitantly cracked it open again, and we all hovered to see what she was talking Page 4

about. There, reclining on the top rack, were a few old, tired, dried out corn cobs, each one resting on a somewhat tattered husk! Now I live with my partner, Faye, who always 'loved to cook.' However, I suspect she, too, has grown weary of the actual 'doing' of that. Mother of seven, all now grown, she claims she 'doesn't know how to cook for two.' In any case we jointly do a lot of 'fixing' -like toasted cheese sandwiches with sliced tomatoes, or fish from the market plus Winn Dixie slaw. Then there's always tuna salad with lettuce on whole wheat bread. But if we do happen to go out, maybe for a 'senior special,' we always manage to bring home enough for another meal! What if the Health Department shut us down? Sometimes I think that could happen. Oh, to be 'sentenced' to only eat in restaurants! We do get tired of the few items we now seem able / willing to prepare. All is not lost, however; Faye has just gone to buy a lottery ticket. And with the winnings, I know we could hire a great chef! Maybe even get a new kitchen, as well!

Poetry Corner frida meets billie i have never eaten music. have been so sad, i have been an aversion but have never eaten music. i have avulsed myself, learned lessons by spitting them up like vomit, but maybe you too, know something about this. you know what it’s like to be in between the thighs of a woman and cry wolf. to have a man dress you in the charred gold of his knuckles, i may hide in hues but i know all about you. you can shatter silence. have it climb on the tip of your tongue and come. close. when i dream of death and skeletons, you dream of melting muerto men who have tongues as tall as trumpets. who can compete with you. there is mercy in all the blows. an edge in anguish. there is wind in my hands. i paint a portrait of your esophagus and let it ride me all day. i am good at these things. i carve your cells behind my eyelids because i think they taste like magic. diego doesn’t question. my first night in harlem, i found a sketch of your shadow, cut in half, fed it to the woman in my stomach. i watch the rain ricochet from the ekphrasis of your throat. i am in the audience. you are the stage sliced into earrings i have hung from the branches of frantic ears. i am overwhelmed by you. your blue heroin songs make me hungry for sleep in your velvet veins, i drain the juice of sunflowers and i drink your sky. i am morphine of dance, an alien ecstatic to be reborn in your bones. we have something in common. we have met as lions, scraping the flesh from our breath as if we are both the moon wearing meat. i have shared everything with you in the salt of a second. silent to let the world sit back and stare. some women you can only wear like tattoos. are as bottomless as howling nights. stitching a thousand swollen stories. have god tangled in their windpipes. by Jazmine Davis

Home Van Pet Care Project Update by Elizabeth Howard, Project Coordinator
Bucket Christmas: We had a great Bucket Christmas thanks to your help. Money for the buckets was donated. We were able to purchase 45 of those bright orange-red buckets, and fill them with plenty of dog food, cat food, treats and toys. The food was eaten, and the buckets are reusable for many needs. Several groups helped us by sponsoring pet food drives. If you can continue this all during the year that will help us have a stable base for the pet feeding. I don’t try to thank all the groups and people who help in this newsletter as I am bound to leave someone out. People who have given before and know when and where to drop off donations sometimes bring food, toys, treats and gifts like those lovely soft little blankets and we never know who has been there. The donation you may believe is small…the one that is large…all are deeply appreciated and we thank you on behalf of the animals and their people. Winterization Project: We need help to complete a special project for Spartan and Munchie, shown in the photo guarding their new houses. The houses were donated by St. Francis Pet Care Clinic and we still need help to secure them properly and be sure running lines or tiedowns are placed correctly. Please let us know if you can help. (contact info below) HELP US TRANSPORT PETS FOR SPAY/NEUTER. We have several housed clients who have one or more cats or dogs in need of spay/neuter. This will be hands-on, face-to-face mentoring and it will be demanding as it sometimes is to comply with the rules and needs of the various clinics. There will be communication and teaching of clients. We will help you and you will like it! Let us know please (contact info below.) CAT HOME: The Tent City Tribe is now relocated to their new home. They have adjusted well to the relocation and of course they are adult cats, spayed and neutered a long time ago. Thank you for your donations and help with this project. Here is a photo of their little house. The cats might be inside, as they don’t like to have their pictures taken. Thank you so much for all your help. To donate pet food or supplies, call Elizabeth at 352-473-9423 for drop off location and current needs or inquire by email holisticliz@hotmail.com. Financial donations are always welcome and checks can be mailed to Home Van Pet Care Project, Inc., c/o Elizabeth Howard, P.O Box 14305, Gainesville, FL 32604, phone 352-473-9423, email holisticliz@hotmail.com. President Obama Makes History at Inauguration by Kathy Belge
On Monday, January 21st, President Obama was sworn in for his second term as President of the United States. He made history during his inaugural address by becoming the first president to address LGBT rights. "We, the people, declare today that the most evident of truths -- that all of us are created equal -- is the star that guides us still, just as it guided our forebears through Seneca Falls and Selma and Stonewall," Obama said. Seneca Falls refers to birthplace of the Women's Rights Movement, Selma refers to the Civil Rights Movement and of course, Stonewall is the birthplace of the modern gay rights movement. It was amazing not only that the President mentioned LGBT rights, but that he equated them with other important social justice movements. But he didn't stop there. President Obama also made a plea for marriage equality. "Our journey is not complete until our gay brothers and sisters are treated like anyone else under the law for if we are truly created equal, then surely the love we commit to one another must be equal as well," President Obama said in his speech. This comes just months after he came out fully in support of marriage equality. 2013 could be a pivotal year for gay rights. The Supreme Court is taking up the issue of marriage equality and the Defense of Marriage Law. Let's hope that the President backs up his words with actions and continues to advocate for LGBT rights during his next four years in office. Although we've made some gains in the past years with the dismantling of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell", the passage of hate crime legislation and hospital visitation rights, we still have a ways to go until LGBT Americans have full rights. There is no Federal Employment Non-discrimination law, there is no comprehensive immigration law, and adoption laws vary from state to state. We've come a long way, but we still have a ways to go. excerpt from www.lesbianlife.about.com

A Decade of Sharing The Freecycle Network Turns 10 At some point, most of us have probably given away things we didn't need to friends or family members. But what should you do when you don't know anyone who wants the leftover dirt from your gardening project or your old lawnmower? One solution is to check out The Freecycle Network, an organization that encourages people to participate in a culture of giving.
In addition to helping divert landfill waste, Freecycle's mission also includes encouraging gifting, saving resources and building strong communities. They don't just want people to come to them in hopes of getting free stuff. Freecycle is about creating a culture of sharing. "If people weren’t basically good and giving, Freecycle would not work," the organization explains in a press release. "But it does indeed on a massive, and globally local, scale."
You may be wondering how much stuff is actually kept out of landfills by Freecycle. The numbers may impress Freecycle, a website founded in May of 2003 by Deron you. 32,000 items are gifted and reused each day, which Beal of Tucson, Ariz., began when Beal wanted to donate a amounts to over one thousand tons kept out of landfills on a daily basis. Beal wanted to create a way for people to give over thirteen times the height away items that still had value, of Mt. To solve the 700 million pounds of used problem, Beal got together a items." small group of friends interested in sharing the things Each week, thousands of they no longer needed, and new members join Freecycle. that initial group has grown 7,000 volunteers moderate into a project that boasts 9 local groups and keep the million members in more than organization running smoothly. 110 countries. To join in the circle of giving, simply head over to Freecycle's premise is simple: users sign up online with their local Freecycle group (there are groups in over 4,900 Freecycle.org and search for your local group. Users can post items they have that excerpt from www.earth911.com they would like to give away or things they are looking for that they hope to receive. Along with online forums, each Freecycle group has its own email group. Once a user finds someone who wants his or her offering, the parties involved can arrange a time and place for pick up. Freecycle users can give away pretty much anything excluding items that are illegal or inappropriate for younger users. (So you'll have to find another outlet for things like alcohol or firearms.) Aside from that, Freecycle allows you to find homes for whatever you no longer have a use for. Page 10

ARE YOUR TEETH IN MERCURY RETROGRADE? by Woody Blue
In 2005 I was asked to take part in an interdisciplinary program put on by UF in which a 'team' of three medical students would diagnose and advise me on how to treat my ailments. I tried to get out of it by protesting that I was in fairly good health and didn't have any bothersome ailments. However, the director of the program beseeched me to take on a team so that the students would have some practice. The team consisted of a dental student, a medical student and a physical therapist. Throughout the semester, I was challenged to find something wrong with me and they were challenged to come up with ways to 'fix' it. We met in the back room of Books, Inc. once every 3-4 weeks. Here the students took my blood pressure and listened to my breathing, showed me exercises to do and listened to my outlandish theories on healthcare. "Nutrition had very little to do with health," said the medical student, nodding his head politely during my dogmatic ravings about various effects of raw foods, macrobiotics, juicing and so forth. The physical therapist weighed in on the necessity of drinking large amounts of water each day. All of them agreed a low-fat, high-carb diet was the best way to eat, though in reality they had never really given it much thought.
of dollars, and entailed finding a dentist with the correct protocol for the procedure. When I told the dental student this, she emphatically advised me against it, stating that mercury was safe. Mercury is a heavy metal and a hazardous material of which there is no safe level in the body. There are two forms of mercury that poison us: the kind found in fish and the kind found in our dental fillings. Both of them wreak havoc on our nervous systems. Most of us are aware that most fish contain mercury and we should be careful about eating shellfish and large fish that eat other fish because the mercury accumulates over time. This kind of mercury is called methylmercury and it is largely a product of industrial waste. It is absorbed through the digestive system and can eventually be eliminated little by little through interactions with bile and intestinal bacteria. It's a timely process. That's the good news. The bad news is that while it is cycling through your body it is targeting the brain or the fetal brain where it causes damage to the neurological system. Problems with peripheral vision, neuropathy, clumsiness and memory loss are some of the symptoms of methylmercury poisoning. There are no health benefits from ingesting mercury.
The dental student was perplexed when I told her I hadn't been to the dentist in 20 years. To give her something to work on, I gamely let her know I was considering having all my The other kind of mercury, found in dental mercury fillings, called amalgams, replaced with fillings, is elemental mercury. Chinese New Year Feb 10, 2013 The streamers may be cleared away and the champagne depleted until next December 31, but New Year's celebrations aren't done just yet — and they won't be until the Chinese New Year arrives on February 10. According to the Chinese calendar, in 2013, February 9 is New Year's Eve, marking the last day of the Year of the Dragon, while the 10th ushers in the Year of the Water Snake. The dates change each year thanks to the specifics of the calendar, which is based on solar/ lunar happenings — though most Chinese people use the Gregorian, or western calendar, for daily life, the traditional calendar is still employed for major holidays like Chinese
New Year, also known as Lunar New Year. Celebrated by over a billion and a half people around the world, the Year of the Snake marks the halfway point through the 12 Chinese astrological signs. The symbolic animal is believed to impart certain characteristics on those born during that year, and people born during previous snake years (like 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989 and 2001 — but bearing in mind lunar calendar dates) can expect good fortune during 2013. The specific attributes of 'snakes' aren't all that different from how they're perceived in western culture. According to The Examiner, snakes are careful and stealthy, planning out details before they make moves, with a preference for working alone. And then, of course, there's their charismatic side, which easily seduces others to do their will — sound like any Biblical snakes you might be familiar with? But as for the celebrations, expect to see the traditional dragon dancing, lighting of fireworks and yes, snake motifs in Chinatowns and Chinese communities near you. And if you happen to be lucky enough to be part of these celebrations? Don't forget to wish people "Gung hay fat choy," or "Sun leen fai lok", two Cantonese phrases hoping for prosperity for the new year. excerpt from www.huffingtonpost.ca

A Fond Farewell… Elaine R. Weber July 7, 1925 - January 7, 2013 Elaine was born on July 7, 1925 to William and Mary Harding, the 5th of 6 children, and their only daughter. She loved outdoor activities and sports, particularly enjoying field hockey and softball during her years in high school. She was married to LeRoy Weber on September 17, 1949 in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, and they lived in Warminster, Pennsylvania, before moving to Willingboro, New Jersey until retirement when they relocated to Ocala, Florida. At the age of 79, Elaine made the decision to come out as a lesbian to her family and friends, becoming actively involved with the members of the LGBT community in Tampa, Florida. She was interviewed extensively for the DVD documentary "Out Late", and spoke out boldly about her convictions and beliefs.
Elaine Passing
Elaine is survived by two sons (Walter and Kevin), 3 grandchildren (Adrienne, Jessica, and Rachael), 5 greatgrandchildren (Jaydon, Eleni, Evey, Giovanni, and Thomas), numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins - and a wide variety of friends with whom she shared her time, her joy, her friendship, and her life. It is in those memories and our hearts that she will live on. Elaine was passionate about our obligations to our veterans, and supported them through her adult years. If you'd like to make a donation in her name, the Disabled American Veterans is one of her charities. Elaine was on my TV screen just the other day, probably a message from "beyond". Without knowing that she was one of the 5 subjects of the documentary Out Late, I had checked it out from library. A really lovely film and I think some of Alan Alda's family was involved. But imagine my surprise: there was that sweet woman, dancing in Ocala, dancing at Silver Threads, with Constance, and others, and there was Suzanne, interviewing. I laughed out loud, to re-unite in this electronic way. It was almost as good as the real thing -- to see her, drive with her in the convertible, meet her brother, and hear her affirm as she drove out of sight: "LIVE WHILE YOU CAN. IT’S LATER THAN YOU THINK". (Well, not those words exactly, but close enough for the girls we go with, as Justin the carpenter used to say.) For me it was a personal farewell where that was not possible. Honey, we love you and did not get enough... by Rainbow Williams

House GOP Lets Violence Against Women Act Die Without A Vote Despite a late-stage intervention by Vice President Joe Biden, House Republican leaders failed to advance the Senate's 2012 reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, an embattled bill that would have extended domestic violence protections to 30 million LGBT individuals, undocumented immigrants and Native American women. "The House leadership would not bring it up, just like they wouldn't bring up funding for Sandy [hurricane damage]," said Sen. Patty Murray (DWash.), a key backer of the Senate version of the bill, in an interview with HuffPost. "I think they are still so kowtowing to the extreme on the right that they're not even listening to the moderates, and particularly the women, in their caucus who are saying they support this." In April, the Senate with bipartisan support passed a version of VAWA that extended protections to three groups of domestic violence victims who had not been covered by the original law, but House Republicans refused to support the legislation with those provisions, saying the measures were politically driven. Instead, they passed their own VAWA bill without the additional protections. In recent weeks, however, even some House Republicans who voted for the pareddown House bill have said they would now support the broader Senate bill -- and predicted it would pass if Republican leaders let it come to the floor for a vote. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) had been guiding House negotiations on the matter, huddling with Republican congresswomen last month and even working directly with Biden to try to get a deal. House-Senate talks appeared to have broken down over House Republicans' refusal to accept a key protection for Native American women that was included in the Senate bill. "Majority Leader Cantor worked hard seeking to move the bill forward so we can protect victims and prosecute offenders," said Cantor spokesman Doug Heye. Murray said she is "absolutely" planning to reintroduce the bill in 2013. If the Republican Party is concerned about its relationship with women, she added, it should "put that concern to action." "They have the opportunity to do it now," Murray said. "They have the opportunity to take up this bill and show women and men that they understand that women's rights are important." excerpt from www.huffingtonpost.com

AstroFlash I don't know about you but I am feeling so much more flow, more sensitivity and that is both good and bad. My intuition is so on in ways that I haven't experienced till now and I am loving that. Perhaps some of this heightened sensitivity is due to the planetary pileup in Pisces including Mars, Neptune, Chiron and asteroid Hygeia. We have been having an increasing problem with toxins, particularly in our waters since Neptune moved into Pisces in 2010 with Chiron the Planet/Asteroid of the wounded healer coming along for the ride. Pisces and its ruling planet Neptune blur the edges, make everything more mystical and spiritual, offer ecstasy to the mundane, romanticize, and even deceive as they dissolve the boundaries of what we typically think of as our reality. It is this dissolution which many find scary and free fall can be ecstasy for some and hell for others depending on how strong your control needs are and how bored you have become by the status quo. Neptunian energy is not likely to blast you out of your routine like outer planets Uranus or Pluto but it can be experienced as an erosive quality that slowly separates you from life as you know it. If going with the flow has eluded you as a way of life, you will feel so much freer to explore a more patient way of being. By February 1, Venus has entered the airy sign of Aquarius while Mars, the planet of war and physicality, sinks into the Piscean waters. I think we will all experience greater ease and much less frustration than we have in the last several months because the planets over all are more harmonious with each other. Mars in Pisces is likely to cause a more peaceful wave of energy softening our militaristic march to global supremacy and that is all for the good. Since the end of January we are once again graced by Jupiter's beneficial forward motion. Jupiter who can be seen as the planetary holder of expansion and prosperity finally moved full throttle forward on January 31. It will even be sextile controversial Uranus. Personally, your money and resources should improve and the economy should do the same. Hold your wallets up to the sky on the Full Moon and continue to do so through Feb 2 and you can't go wrong. I am telling you, we are all getting such a download of mystical energy and our intuition is on high alert. Venus rules how we do our relationships so for it to move into the unconventional sign of Aquarius suggests that all kinds of unique and non-traditional bonds will start to come out of the closet and even be accepted. Less specifically, Aquarians can often feel like the Aliens of the zodiac so if you are an Aquarius or have the planet Uranus strongly aspected in your chart, you might just find it easier to be and express your own unique selves at this time. Some relationships that form now are liable to come together magnetically and suddenly and come apart the same way but will never be boring. With the New Moon in Aquarius on February 9th this Uranian energy will be manifesting even stronger with rebellious forces seeking ways to go up against authoritative regimes and ideology. The nodes of the moon are also forming a T-square to the New Moon from the 2nd and 8th houses. This suggests a crisis of conscience for all of us. We all can make a difference in our world and it becomes our job to discover the best place to be most effective. Venus will Square Saturn the next day on the 10th which can both Page 24
stabilize existing relationships and pose questions that can challenge and improve them as well. On the 18th Saturn will begin its yearly retrograde sojourn till July 7 so it will be a good time to clean up all regressive patterns and places where you may be stuck. So how about Valentine's Day? I like to celebrate the coming of the Sacred Love Goddesses starting on Feb 2 with Imbolc, Candlemas, Brigid’s Day and so on. One day is simply not long enough to honor the Goddess of Love. This segment of time is more aptly called The Feast of Aphrodite, a time of love and lust, revelry and good food and chocolate wrapped around succulent strawberries and other goodies. Light up your red, white and pink candles and dive into your sacred bath adorning yourself with flowers and pure exotic oils that tempt and seduce a potential lover or just enhance your personal magnetism. On Feb 23 until March 17 Mercury the Messenger will be retrograde. I have spoken of this cycle that happens 3 times a year for approximately 3 weeks many times before and this time it will be like most planets this month, in the watery sign of Pisces. I no longer dread this retrograde and you needn't either but you do want to prepare for its downside. Communication is the hardest part of this transit and even more so in the case of Pisces which tends to lubricate everything with a bit of mystery if not potential deceit and lack of clarity. Whenever a personal planet goes retrograde that means among other things that the planetary energy is more internal, and slower. This is a good time to finish old projects, be more reflective and prepare the things that you want to move ahead when the retro is over. February 25 features a Full Moon in Virgo which opposes all the lovely Piscean planets. Given that, the Mars/Mercury near conjunction is most likely to light up some kind of global conflagration due either to out and out misrepresentation or at best misunderstandings. February 25 also sees Venus moving into its exalted sign of Pisces. I have always marveled at the description of that placement. Venus in Pisces is considered the highest aspect of love yet in its manifestation on the material plane, I see people with that placement having a very tough time. Venus in Pisces folk are capable of a higher kind of love which is far easier to receive than give. Unconditional love is a beautiful thing to behold and very rare. One thing, if you are the one with Venus in Pisces, you must first and always love yourself unconditionally too. Enjoy. On Feb 26 Mars will conjoin Mercury and could bring a more combative energy to the fore. Typically both of these energies would prefer to Make Love not War especially in Pisces but if there is a powder keg globally or personally waiting to pop, this just might be the day - especially given murky Mercury in retro's penchant for misinformation. February 28th, the last day of the month, features the mystical conjunction of the Sun and Neptune. This pairing does not bring out the greatest clarity but it sure can feel good. You may not get a lot done but your dream world should be offering up some delightful dreams and fantasies. Music will smooth out all the rough edges that you may have accumulated this month so allow its mystery to weave a lavender cloak around you and sleep with the Angels. ARIES - Nice to know that Uranus will be in my sign for a really long time providing me with adventure and loads of excitement and a totally original way to live my life. Sometimes we need a little shake up in our lives and I have Kindred Sisters — February 2013
been shook, salted, rocked, rolled and stirred for a couple of years and it is that I feel no need to make any decisions about anything and the gift for me certainly not boring I hate boring and fortunately life has been providing me is Serenity...what an amazing feeling. with ample ways to keep me on track. I am however wide open for increased SCORPIO - I am starting to get used to this Saturn feeling. So heavy it is. I prosperity. C'mon Jupiter in Gemini, bring it! do feel unusually grounded but still not too comforting because I do not feel TAURUS - Aries, now you are speaking my language but my needs are more the sense of freedom that I prefer. Yet I am aware of a deep sense of constant than exciting. Don't get me wrong as the right kind of excitement is guidance that is irresistible. Choice does not seem to be an option yet I am just my cup of tea but I don't want to have my world in a perpetual spin cycle feeling a stronger sense of inner peace, like I have finally found my way. I like you. Yeah honey I am built for comfort not for speed and what could be can feel Aphrodite and all her Muses dancing around my periphery which feels sweet yet there is no need to join in with their revelry, just a knowing better on a cold wintery night than to snuggle down on some warm satin that all these emotions live within me. sheets with the partner of your choice sipping some cafe' con leche and dipping plump strawberries into dark chocolate.which you will share SAGITTARIUS - The pull of far away places and exotic sensual foods and seductively. That my dears is just the appetizer. Happy Feast of Aphrodite. aromas are pulling my consciousness like a Siren song or a Genie in a bottle. GEMINI - Oy! Not Mercury Retrograde again. OK so I have most of the month There is something quite compelling yet positive leading me onward.. Am I to get ready, not so bad but I just don't know what to do with myself when it the snake charmer or am I the charmed? I do not know but the path extends all just slows down. I have two speeds, fast and warp and I am comfortable out from my hands and my very being. My spirit wants to play so badly and there. I rather talk than think and don't think that hasn't gotten me in trouble my inclination is to follow that thread. Don't know if it will lead me down the from time to time. With Jupiter cutting me loose at the end of January. and rabbit hole but right now I simply do not care. Adventure feels like a Divine option. getting all kinds of expansive, I am thinking of taking up dancing. This will help me use the strong energy of Jupiter. Maybe I need to get a nice Sag and travel to Brazil and learn to Samba? Possibilities are limitless and so am I! CAPRICORN - My road does not feel the least bit glamorous yet it does feel more on point. I think that I am finally getting used to the intensity of Pluto's CANCER - Feeling the sweet flow of life more and more especially with so kind of inner leadership. The compulsion that I have often felt is gone which many planets in Pisces. Not so much charge from explosive Uranus and is really pleasant. I do have a deep sense of rightness and purpose that is Pluto which is fine by me. I know they are still around and can rock my world both enjoyable yet foreign. I do not think that I ever courted Peace as a goal at any time but the gentle ripple effect that keeps me floating on a more and now that it is here, it brings a lightness to my heart. Who knew! I feel like serene body of water soothes my soul allowing me to heal from the tumult of I am comfortably in my own skin yet exploring another country my life ride at Wild Waters. This is a time when I like to hunker down and get simultaneously. really comfortable. Perhaps it's time to finish writing one of my many books AQUARIUS - I am used to feeling like an alien in most circles yet Aphrodite that is almost complete. Mercury retro will be great for that. has me in her thrall all month and it is so so lovely. Feelings can really be LEO - Ooh just had the best Full Moon ever, of course it was in Leo and that nice! I know that sounds really weird and weird is a sandbox that I am so energy just gets me wild and wanting to preen. I wonder if Aphrodite likes used to playing in but this is a very new feeling for me. I actually feel like I lions? Could be a good time to strut my stuff since we are celebrating Love belong. If you were inside my head, you would know how amazing this is so I this month. As far as I am concerned, I could celebrate the Goddess of Love will just pause and let this warm feeling sweep through me. No need to resist every month and quite happily. I might just create something very intriguing or run to a more distant place for safety. I am filled with questions about on the New Moon. It's time for me to buckle down and manifest something this new sensation but I will resist those questions for now and simply that I can be proud of and have my drama on stage where others can see it Enjoy. and benefit too. PISCES - Oh rock me on the waters of bliss. So many planets that feel like VIRGO - I am feeling totally outnumbered here with all these Pisces planets. ME, just amazing to feel so calm yet so excited at the same time. I am so They make the world ever so disorganized and seemingly random. I feel my used to being a deep feeler and now it feels like I am surrounded by an reality being pushed and pulled into an alternate version. I suppose it is energy that just says Yes. Elevation , yes that's what it is. My psyche has cosmic and all but why can't we just settle down and follow a schedule? The gotten a warm and wonderful uplift and it is absolutely delicious. This ocean energy feels refreshing but it is so so unsettling to my very being. Be it ever of emotion feels like a rare sense of serenity and lightness of being. I am at so boring there is no place like home. There is something to be said about once a child and an elder, and I can enjoy either. Venus will visit me on the order. I allowed myself to be twisted and turned by these waves and I do last few days of the month and that will be the icing on the cake and I do love have my moments of lucidity just not enough of them. cake. LIBRA - I do prefer more order in my life as well but I am not going to whine about it. I have also felt refreshed by the shift that is happening. I have never felt such a sense of being guided by Spirit to a goal that I have not specifically chosen for myself yet there is something that feels so right.
