HELLO KINGDOM FAMILY, Can you believe that we are already in November? 2021 is moving swiftly! We have only two months remaining in this year, and I am excited to see what the Lord will do. I pray that you are as excited about what God will do in the life of our church and in your life as we keep moving forward. There is so much joyful anticipation at the church about entering back into the sanctuary on Sunday morning for worship as a family for the first time in over a year. Many of you have been part of the Thursday recordings and you’ve experienced what worship and preaching looks like in that setting. But Sunday mornings will be different. Our band, praise teams, dance team, welcome team and more will be part of the worship experience. Get ready! Worship will look and feel different once we enter in this time. Yes, there will be several changes that you will experience, but our prayer is that you will see and feel the power and presence of the Lord even with the social distancing and mask requirements. We are also excited and grateful of where we are as it relates to our Kingdom Builders campaign and how close we are to reaching our goal! You can read more about the campaign and our new base of ministry operations, which we will call “The Kingdom Worship Center,” in the pages of this Gather Guide. Our Kingdom Cares team continues to do an amazing job in the community both locally and globally. This is all, of course, a direct result of God’s favor on our church, the great leadership we have over Kingdom Cares, and your committed, faithful giving to the work of the Lord here at Kingdom Fellowship AME Church. In the last few weeks, I have been in several great meetings related to our Kingdom Global Community Development Corporation (KGCDC). What God is bringing together is awesome. Soon we will be able to share more about these developments and what it means for how we can impact our community even more. This is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes! I firmly believe that as God continues to move in the life of Kingdom, God is also going to move in your life and the life of your family. That is actually the focus of my sermon series this month, God’s Will For My Life: BEYOND. I believe that God has more in store for you than you can imagine, and I am excited to see it come to pass. Each Sunday in November, I will be preaching and examining places throughout the Bible where God showed his plan for more to go BEYOND. There is so much more that our team of leaders has planned and prepared. It can be found in the pages of this Gather Guide. To receive diapers from Kingdom Cares one must live in East Montgomery County, under the zip codes: 20903 • 20904 • 20905 20866 • 20860 • 20860 On day of distribution all clients must bring a photo ID and some identification of the child.

Deep in the souls of our ancestors was a hope cruel surroundings could not crush. In this season of Advent, you are invited on a journey that intersects faith, history, the coming of the Lord. In our guidebook for this season, “Prophesy Hope!: An Advent Reflection on Hope, Peace, Love, and Freedom,” Dante Stewart leads readers on a 25-day journey through this black faith tradition to reflect deeply on God’s love and the meaning of Advent. Starting the week of November 28th, groups will be offered on Mondays or Wednesdays from 7 PM to 8 PM for a fourweek virtual journey to Christmas. There is no need to purchase material as facilitators will guide you through discovery and discussion of God’s Word.
