My Husband Matt and I can wholeheartedly say: What an honor and a privilege it is to raise children! We know that to be afforded the opportunity to encounter such a task and then to be able to say that it is an experience of what God has truly done makes it all the more welcoming. As parents, we understand that our goal should be to learn and grow more each and every day in the same ways that we implement values and principles in our children. But we as parents need those same values and principles as well. I’m reminded of something my CoPastor (who is also my mother-in-law) says: “If I were to ask your child about you and how you are at home, what would Parenting requires us to your child tell me?” That teach self-dis- question always makes me cipline to our think ahead! Realizing that children. no one on earth is perfect and never will be, the best we can do is teach our children to strive for greatness. We as parents are their best example. Striving for greatness should come from within a place of a parent that wants greatness to be instilled before the child enters the earth realm. Even during the fetus development process, Matt and I spoke LIFE and BLESSINGS into our precious vessels! We understand that the seed that has been sown is for the building up of the Kingdom; therefore his/her purpose of that unto which is to come will manifest itself in due time. Psalms 127:3 speaks of how children
are a heritage of the Lord and the fruit of the womb is His reward. Knowing that we get to look into the natural face of what we get to call our own is what brings the joy! Nevertheless, it is a gift that God gives for one to be able to be a parent. Parenting requires us to teach self-discipline to our children, and to remember we as parents need the same. It also requires us to teach them to learn responsibility and consequences for their actions. Psalm 30:5 says that God’s anger only lasts for a moment but his favor lasts a lifetime! Sounds like us as parents.

Prophetic Encounter 2017 the Year of Victory!
A
s I reflect on 2016, it has been a year of great blessings. In the midst of the great blessings, there have also been great challenges that many of the people of God have had to endure. However, even in the midst of various adverse situations, God has truly caused us to triumph. The fact that we are alive to tell our testimonies shows that we have triumphed over every attack from the enemy, and recovered from every setback from life. Each time that we may have thought that we wouldn’t make it, the Lord sent His Word to remind us that He promised never to leave us nor forsake us. Now, as we enter into 2017, allow me to encourage every follower of Christ to know that we must “Expect Victory!” In 1 John 5:4, it says, “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” When I was in prayer, the Lord began to remind me that as His children we overcome the world through our faith. In other words, our victory is a direct result of our faith in the God of our salvation. Therefore, when those challenging situations come in 2017, we must know that we will overcome the world. We must know that we are to continue to walk by faith and not by sight.

The word ‘victory’ (Greek word ‘Nike’) means to defeat the enemy, or to have a means of success. In 2016, some of the people of God allowed the enemy to torment them with things like fear, depression and doubt. But God is saying that He’s already given us the victory over every struggle and challenge. Therefore, in this New Year, when the darts of the enemy are thrown at you, remember to “Expect Victory as the outcome!” Expect to come out with your hands lifted up in victory! Here are a few tips when it comes to Expecting Victory: • Continue to trust God and walk by faith. • Continue to stand on the promises of God through the Word. • Position yourself in prayer. • Position yourself with continuous praise on your lips. • Speak victory over your life and your circumstances. • Walk in your victory. • Live in your victory. • Don’t let anything steal your victory because it belongs to you! I prophesy to every follower of Christ
that 2017 is your year of continuous victories. EXPECT IT!

Beauty Tips Winter is here! And so is the New Year. So if you do not know much about beauty, I have some great tips for you. During this time of the year, it is extremely important to keep your face moisturized and your lips exfoliated. The cold causes dry skin, resulting in dry patches on your face as well as cracked lips. Healthy skin that is well taken care of, is the beginning of a flawless foundation application. If the skin is dried out, your makeup will appear dry and flaky. Consequently, your lipstick will show cracked lips. FYI, moisturizer is not lotion; lotion clogs your pores in your face, while moisturizer does not. Exfoliating your lips is also a vital maintenance act in the winter. It removes cracked and dead skin from your lips. And a natural remedy for that is brown sugar, coconut oil and honey. Simply add an equal portion of all three ingredients, scoop a little and scrub your lips! n 2003 I prayed the Jabazz prayer, asking God to enlarge my territory. You have to be careful with that prayer because it works. Around that time, I had gotten a letter from a boy in Ghana. In it, he said he had not eaten in three days, and he was questioning the existence of God. “If God is God,” he said, “why would He not at least feed me?” At that moment, he found a paper on the ground, so he picked it up and started reading it. It talked about the rape and murder of my daughter Gloria Pointer. Now, whenever I tell that story, I ask: “If there is no God, then how did the paper get on the ground at the exact moment that he was questioning the existence of God?” I had asked God, “What do you want me to do for that boy?” God said, “I want you to feed him.” How am I going to feed someone in Africa? That’s the beauty about God. You don’t have to know how to do it, you just have to believe that He can do it – and that He can do it through you. I told Him yes, and God began to go ahead of me and open these doors and prepare these ways. what what
Since I didn’t know what to do, I had to depend on God! After I confirmed that the boy was real, I would get honorariums and I would sell my books and send the money to him. During this time the boy had a dream, and God told him to start a mission in the name of my daughter. They began doing work over there in Ghana in my daughter’s name over five years ago. A lot of people want to do work for God, but some are lacking strength in the Spirit. They invited me to come to Africa to see this work. I didn’t know anything about Africa; I couldn’t even find this church for this interview! What did I know? Again, I don’t have to know, I just have to know the One that does know. I started saying to God, I’ll go but what do I do? That’s when the miraculous started happening. Danita Harris from Channel 5 got married and I went to the reception, and I ran into a friend of mine whom I have not seen in a while, Dr. Pratt. She was getting ready to go to Africa! “Wow, I want to go

to Africa!” Dr. Pratt asked me, “Where do you want to go?” I replied, “Ghana.” She was taking a group there herself! She took me by the hand and helped me get my visa, passport, and shots. She truly helped me and got me ready. The problem was I didn’t have any money. That’s when I received a call from actress Queen Latifa. She heard about all the work, so I was in New York and they had this contest and I said if I win I could use this money to go to Africa. Sure enough, I won the contest! The next thing you know, I was touching down in Africa. God miraculously did it without any help from me; this is why we have to stop trying to help God. As a matter of fact, one of my friends, Minister Webb, God told me to tell you that He doesn’t need your help, and that as long as you are trying to help God takes His hands off. So Lord, you go ahead and do it. When you get to that place
where you just don’t know what to do, that’s when He shows you who He is. So when I got to Africa, I wept when I saw the children and the need. God, what do you want me to do? He said you are going to build schools here. Well again, I don’t know what to do and we had one of the chiefs in the village give me some land. Again, you don’t have to know what to do, you just have to know the One who does.Andonething led to another – through speaking engagements and book sales – wewentbackin 2015 and we opened the school.

The Year of Jubilee Prophetess Kimberly M. Fleming
Many people have already started asking me what the Lord is saying for 2017. I don’t have any catchy phrases or rhymes, just a simple word from the Lord: Expect with great anticipation that this is YOUR Year of Jubilee. You may ask what we can expect in this year of Jubilee. You can expect God to show up and show out in your life this year. My mom, Apostle Shirley McKinney, spoke to us a few weeks back and confirmed much of what the Lord had already put in my spirit regarding 2017. Here are a few things I want you to expect to see happen in this New Year: 1) (Matthew 6:33) – “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” (James 4:8) “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” It’s time to seek the Lord and draw closer to Him. He wants to make Himself more real to you this year than ever before. When you seek Him first and live for the Kingdom, He will take care of your needs and give you the desires of your heart. 2) Miracles: We can expect to see and experience miracles, especially unusual miracles this year. For many of you it’s already started. 3) Restoration: (Joel 2:25) – “God is going to restore/repay you for the years the locusts have eaten.” He’s going to restore families, health, finances, wasted time; He’s going to restore the joy of your salvation. Psalm 51:12 4) Answered Prayers: - (Isaiah 65:24) – “Before they call I will answer, while they are speaking I will hear.” Prayers that you have forgotten about, God hasn’t forgotten.
He’s going to answer those prayers - and before you can get the next prayer out of your mouth He will have already answered. 5) Blessings: Proverbs 10:22 in the NIV says, “the blessings of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it.” The blessings God has for us this year will not be painful or hard to obtain from Him. We can expect His blessings to run us down and overtake us this year. We’re going to hear and see some hard heartbreaking, crazy things this year. It will be up to us to remain steadfastand unmovable. We have to keep our eyes on God like never before. Don’t be swayed by television or social media, but stay focused on God’s Word, stay in God’s face. Be kingdom minded. Put yourself in a permanent posture of fasting, prayer, praise, and worship. Most of all, expect with GREAT anticipation that 2017 will be YOUR Year of Jubilee!!! Be blessed!
