In Summary

All Year 9 pupils study the core subjects:

English History Mathematics

Geography Biology

Religious Studies Chemistry Physical Education & Games

Physics

They then decide on the rest of their curriculum, i.e.

Either Two languages + 3 option subjects or Three languages + 2 option subjects

Please note:

The second modern languages courses assume a minimum of one year of previous study. If your son or daughter has taken only one modern language in their current school, please opt for Italian which is taught as a beginner’s class.

It will not be possible to begin a new additional language at the beginning of Year 10.
