Not Going To University • The Enrichment Programme also underpins this process • We recognise that University is not the right pathway for every student • Work experience opportunity in June/July of Year 12 • Various workshops – including writing a CV or a letter of application, interview techniques and much more • Dedicated member of staff co-ordinating the process
“Recent changes in leadership of the sixth form have led to further improvement in teaching. Closer monitoring of the quality of teaching and the impact on students’ learning has resulted in teaching of high quality” OFSTED September 2013
The Dress Code • Traditional view of educational dress, that is recognised and respected within the school’s wider community. • The dress code within the school’s Sixth Form seeks to maintain this formality whilst allowing students some licence and flexibility. • Sixth Form students are viewed as role models and therefore are expected to dress appropriately. • Students are required to dress in a more ‘formal’ manner as if they were going to work in a formal office. • Copies of all of our policies are available on the school website
