MAKING MEMORIES THAT LAST A LIFETIME

Whether catching up on the latest from the Houses of Commons and exploring Churchill War Rooms on a politics trip to London, a Modern Language exchange to France or Spain, or a Classics week-long museum-filled trip to Italy, you will see that most of our courses offer the opportunity to experience new cultures and places.

Our physics department runs a biennial trip to CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research and, along with our Biology and Chemistry Departments, arranges enrichment and extension trips and visits throughout the year. A biennial music tour, involving the School Choir and Chamber Orchestra, has flown to Malta to perform numerous concerts and our Drama Department runs an annual theatre residential trips to London with a jam-packed agenda of shows, Pineapple Studio performances and behind the scenes theatre tours.

Our ever-popular bi-annual sports tours, such as the recent netball, hockey and rugby tours to South Africa and cricket tour to India offer students the chance to see, experience and play against local communities, as well as the opportunity to enjoy of a raft of exhilarating activities such as windsurfing and scuba diving, all whilst visiting some of the most beautiful landmarks and places in the world.

“King’s Sixth Form is full of opportunities. Be this in the classroom, in co-curricular clubs, on the sports fields or exploring the world on the many trips and expeditions, there are so many opportunities and something for everyone to enjoy.”
