Ten Tors
This is the training activity for the selected group of 4th Form pupils to develop their skills and work towards making the team and taking part in the Ten Tors 35-mile challenge in April 2024. Pupils must be doing CCF on Friday afternoons.
Jazz, Tap and Modern Dance
An introduction to Jazz, Tap, and Modern Dance Open to all and no experience necessary. You will need comfortable clothing and jazz shoes, which can be arranged at the beginning of term, should you be interested. External teacher.

Beginners ’ Silversmithing
Pupils will learn the basic silversmithing skills to be able to create some beautiful pieces of work. We will be working with a variety of metals to start off with, moving on quickly to real sterling silver (.925). Projects include making bangles, rings, pendants, earrings, dog tags, cufflinks and more. Pupils will learn how to use the tools needed to work with silver including using the piercing saw, texturing hammer, letter stamps and how to file and polish. Open to 3rd, 4th and 5th Form pupils. Max 10 pupils.

Building on being awarded the Eco-School Green Flag award in 2022, we have continued to develop a greener and more caring landscape at King’s. Would you like to have an hour in your week when you are able to stop, relax and reflect on what has happened during your day? Each week we will be looking at different ways that we can practice being mindful, from bullet journaling to colouring, crafting to nature walks and mindful breathing. A yummy snack and good music are also provided. All welcome however the activity will take place in year groups.
