HOUSES
LYON @KSBLyonHouse
Lyon is a warm and friendly boys’ House, located close to some of the pitches, about eight minutes walk from the main school site. Lyon boys are a group of renaissance young men who have a talent and passion for debating, music, sport and drama. We have an experienced tutor team. Our proximity to the main playing fields means there is an endless game of football or cricket happening outside and it’s the mechanism by which the boys relax. The fields also provide the backdrop for many of our House Nights, be it barbeques or outdoor cinema nights. The boys also enjoy the Lyon House Quiz Night and watching Match of the Day as a community on a Saturday night. Dan Hodder Outgoing Housemaster, Lyon House I am very much looking forward to becoming the Housemaster of Lyon House in September. Its position in the School is amazing; who could hope for more space and more facilities for a group of energetic young men? Having taught many of the boys, coached them in rugby and cross country, and watched their performances in music, debating and Inter-House Competitions across the board, I know that they are talented, capable and full of personality, and I hope to nurture that in the coming years. Lyon House is an exceptional place, and I hope to maintain its success and its positive contributions to King's. Malcolm Jeffrey Housemaster, Lyon House (September 2021)
