Career Guidance Appointments Whether you have no idea what to do next, are looking for the ideal internship or just need some advice on relevant resources, we will work with you to make progress towards your goal - from your first year right through to after you graduate. Log on to King’s CareerConnect to book an appointment.
Careers E-Learning Our Careers e-learning hub includes interactive courses and resources for your personal and professional development. Find information on getting your career started, creating and tailoring your CVs, finding jobs/internships and preparing for interviews. Access it anywhere, at any time.
Practice Interviews If you have an upcoming interview, we provide you with an opportunity to practice for it, using the actual job description for the vacancy.
Careers Resources From general topics such as creating the perfect CV, to specific information like careers in pharmacy. These resources are available at our Careers Centre or online at: kcl.ac.uk/careerkit
Application Appointments Learn how to polish your CV, perfect your cover letter and nail that job application with the help of our application advisers.
KING’S CAREERCONNECT King’s CareerConnect is our online careers portal. Use it to arrange appointments, book your place at events and search for jobs and opportunities.

How to book an appointment • • • • •
All appointments are released daily at 07.00 on CareerConnect (Practice Interviews should be booked at least 24 hours in advance) Once logged in, select ‘Search & Book’ under Appointments Browse through the appointments available to you and select one to book You will receive a conformation email shortly afterwards All meetings with a Careers Consultant must be booked via CareerConnect
How to access CareerConnect • •
Current students are automatically registered with CareerConnect and you can use your network ID and password to login The first time you login, you will be asked to set up your profile to trecieve targeted emails from employers and tailored information.

EVENTS King’s Careers & Employability organise various events throughout the year to give you the chance to explore different sectors, develop your skills and meet with employers, alumni and practitioners. These events can vary from careers fairs, to sector-specific seminars, to skills workshops. We also run a selection of careers series, which include the Assessment Centre Series, Discover Careers In..., Future Advantage Series, and Legal Week.

Global Internships Programme
The King’s Internships Part Time & Summer Schemes enable you to participate in high quality internships in London. All opportunities are exclusive to King’s students and are offered across a wide range of sectors. You can choose either a full time summer internship or a part-time placement designed to fit flexibly alongside your studies.
If your degree offers an internship module, you can undertake an assessed internship for academic credit. Plenty of support and guidance is available for you to successfully find and complete a quality internship placement, allowing you to directly apply the knowledge developed during your degree to a real-world working environment.
The flagship Global Internships Programme offers the opportunity to pursue a work placement overseas during your summer vacation. A global internship is the perfect opportunity to set yourself apart in the competitive graduate market: you’ll gain international work experience, language skills and multicultural awareness – qualities that employers seek in top candidates.
