Led by two dancers from the company described as ‘one of the most cheekily original and innovative forces in modern dance’, this master-class includes a warm-up, teaching of repertoire-based movement and creative tasks. Loved by girls and boys of all ages, learn the tricks of the trade using theatrical make-up and special effects. Gruesome Zombies, Fantasy Creatures, Gory Cuts and Wounds, Theatrical Ageing ... and more! If you have your own theme, just ask.
Voice and movement, script work and character creation form the basis of this specially devised Games-themed workshop series with performances. BUILD YOUR OWN MUSICAL Create your very own piece of musical theatre from scratch! Working with a theatre director and composer, through a series of games and exercises in devising and song-writing, discover how it is possible to create something from nothing through strong team work and group challenges. BACKSTAGE TOURS AND ILLUSTRATED TALKS How glamorous are the dressing rooms? Are there any ghosts? How has the theatre changed over the century? WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAMME The King’s & Theatre Royal offers three week-long placements per term for young people to gain experience of working life in the commercial theatre sector. Please also tell us why you would like to have your placement with us. We will invite applicants to meet with us informally after which, placements will be offered.
