16 Texas Style Cuban - Housemade chopped bbq brisket, sliced ham, texas cheddar, pickles, creole mustard, ciabatta bread
“When I was a little child, my family would take me to the same Mom and Pop sandwich shop once a week where I fell in love with their Cuban Sandwich. As I got older and more into cooking, I started playing around making my own versions of this delcious sandwich with local items from where I was living in Texas and evolved this sandwich. The “Texas-style” changes I made were to replace the pulled pork with chopped BBQ brisket. I love the smoky sweet flavor of the BBQ brisket that enhances an already great sandwich. Every time I cook a brisket, I have to make one of these Texas-styled Cubans. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.”
