Each year, the City completes a comprehensive annual financial report which is then audited by an independent firm of certified public accountants. The City’s financial statements have been audited by Sikich LLP. The objective of an annual audit of the comprehensive annual financial report is to determine if the financial statements of the City are presented fairly and free of misstatements. An unmodified (“clean”) opinion was issued by the auditors for the year ended December 31, 2020. The comprehensive annual financial reports for the past twelve years, along with other financial information, are all available on the City’s website at www.kirksvillecity.com/finance!
