‘Promote the imaginative colours tool by Fedrigoni’ Design an appropriate response for the UK design industry using print. Promote and brand a proposed event / exhibition that showcases the relationship between colour ink on colour stock to generate interest in the new product. The exhibition will consist of work created by those who enter a proposed competition. The result has to be tactile and made using Fedrigoni stock. The audience have to be able to interact with the products.

Due to the nature of our concept we decided collaboration with an ink company would benefit the exhibition. Not only would this contribute to exploring the idea of colour on colour but it would be a good promotional opportunity for the ink company itself. The ink company would also be able to contribute to the understanding of the relationship between ink and stock due to the fact it is part of the relationship that creates printed design. Apollo colours ltd was chosen because they provide a wide range of inks for various materials.

East London city arches (Shoreditch) is the perfect location to hold an exhibition, it has a lot of character to it and accommodates all the plans we have for the layout. The building is also well lit so will create a good atmosphere once the exhibition is set up. The floorplan with colour briefly explains the plans for the exhibition with areas for a place to be seated (upstairs), interaction with the imaginative colours tool and the main section where the work itself will be exhibited.
