OUR TEAM Led by award-winning chef Jozef Youssef, we work in collaboration with leading scientists, psychologists, magicians and artists to push the boundaries of gastronomy. Creatively applying the results of our collaborations with Jozef’s years of culinary experience in London’s top Michelin Star restaurants, we design innovative bespoke projects which are experientially designed to be meaningful to your brand.


CHIVAS X KITCHEN THEORY

INTERNATIONAL

Brief

Design a multisensory tasting experience for the global launch of Chivas Ultis hosted internationally. Bringing to life the key message; ‘the art of blending’ and Chivas’s DNA of 5 generations of master blenders which inspired the new product.

Development The concept designed explored the ‘art of blending’. Based on our academic research, we created bespoke audio soundscapes to representing each of the single malts,) in collaboration with an audio specialists.


Deliverables Concept, experience and menu development and tastings Activation across 5 global cities; 50 minute experiences for up to 20 guests hosted by chef Jozef for press, influencers and special guests Toolkit; including a production guide, sensory elements, run of show and scripting to enable global market replication.


BAILEY’S

X KITCHEN THEORY

LONDON

Brief

Research, development and writing of Bailey’s inaugural ‘Annual Sweet Treats Trends Report, positioning Bailey’s as an authority on the topic.


Development Working in collaboration with Bailey’s Dublin PR agency (Wilson & Hartnell) and Pinterest, Kitchen Theory developed a 2020 trends report on sweet treats. The report included trends based on research and input from key pastry and dessert influencers.

Deliverables Delivering the content and design of the trends report. Developing canapes for the press launch, hosted in Central London. Chef Jozef Youssef as part of an experts panel discussion with influencers and celebrity bakers hosted by Claudia Winkleman. Media interviews and press statements.


SAMSUNG X KITCHEN THEORY

LONDON

Brief

Design a space themed experience for 300 guests at the Samsung Space Selfie press and influencer event, hosted by Cara Delevingne at the Samsung KX store.

Development Kitchen Theory designed a collection of space themed cocktails and canapes tying in with key brand messages.


Deliverables Menu development and tasting Liaising with brand marketing, PR and production agencies to bring the concept to life. Catering & service of all food and drink. Staffing, production and service management


DENVILLE HALL X KITCHEN THEORY

LONDON

Brief

Design a bespoke multisensory food experience for a select number of residents of Denville Hall retirement home

Development Working in collaboration with Professor Charles Spence of Oxford University, Kitchen Theory designed a 6 course ‘ice cream’ menu aimed at delivering a range of nutrient dense sweet and savoury ice creams as a solution to malnutrition in elderly homes

Deliverables Denville Hall hosted an evening dining experience at the Kitchen Theory studio for a number of their residents and patrons, including renowned actor Charles Dance. Hosted by chef Jozef and Professor Spence the experience took diners on a journey of nostalgia, while also relaying the science behind the menu design. Statements by chef Jozef for inclusion in a press release



GUINESS

X KITCHEN THEORY

Brief

Design a multisensory food experience for International Stout Day 2019, themed around space, to be hosted in the Open Gate Brewery.

Development After a brand immersion in Dublin, Kitchen Theory developed a series of sensory booths and food experiences to guide guests through the journey of the future of Guinness in space.

Deliverables Concept development, menu creation and liaising with local catering team & production teams KT chefs travelled to Dublin for the event activation. Chef Jozef hosted part of the event and took part in a panel discussion, interviews, radio and press statements.



AUDI

X KITCHEN THEORY

LONDON


Brief

Curate a series of immersive dining experiences for ‘Audi Presents’ guests.

Development Taking Audi’s core principles of progressiveness, excitement, charm and simplicity as inspiration to develop a multisensory experience immersing guests into the brand. The main principle being to actualise what Audi would look like were it a restaurant and how would its core principles come to life on the table.

Deliverables Concept, experience and menu development. Toolkit including; production guide, sensory elements, run of show and scripting. Hosting 600 guests at the Kitchen Theory studio over the course of 6 weeks.


CLUB MED X KITCHEN THEORY

MALDIVES

Brief

As part of a the ‘Fusions’ campaign for Club Med Finolhu, Kitchen Theory designed a multisensory menu which was on offer in the main restaurant for 6 months.


Development Collaborating with award winning Singapore-based composer Tze Toh, Kitchen Theory designed a concept exploring the history and mythology of the Madives, integrating sensory elements and storytelling to create an immersive experience for up to 50 guests per service.

Deliverables Concept and menu development and liaising with local teams. Chef Jozef hosted the inaugural dinner for press, influencers and special guests. Kitchen Theory chefs travelled to Maldives to launch and train the local team.

CHEF’S TABLE Our award wining Chef’s Table, exclusively for 12 guests opens to the public three days of each month. Hosted at our studio in North London, this 10 course multisensory experience will give you an insight into our collaborative research and creative process.
