The Concept A sensorially provocative Dining Experience
Eating is the most multisensory activity we humans take part in (multiple times) everyday and academic research indicates that the brain is capable of experiencing the same if not more pleasure from food than sex
The Experience This immersive, classy, kinky, thought provoking, tongue in cheek experience will take the diners on a hedonistic, indulgent, fun and interactive journey exploring their senses and sensuality
Stimulating and intriguing textures, aromas, sounds, visuals and tastes will all contribute to an evening of showmanship and gastronomic magic
The Experience How better to promote the power of sensuality and sexuality than by having guests nibble, lick and bite their way through a multicourse, immersive dining experience that stimulates all the senses; sensuality and sexuality (tastefully) explored through the medium of food
The Experience Aesthetic design: a theatrical dark sexy circus
Showmanship: lots of table side theatrics and magic in the presentation of the dishes at the table
Journey: interactive and immersive sensory elements which allow the guests to have fun and participate in an engaging experience
The Menu Each course on the menu will explore interesting and engaging concepts from our science based research, examples include:
•
Raising the diner’s heartbeat and pupil dilation by stimulating their senses of taste and hearing
•
The role of art in food and sexuality (think Dali and lobsters!)
•
Exploring the role of aroma in nostalgia and memories
•
Eating with the hands is more sensual and science says it makes food taste better
•
Exploring emotions and concepts such as lust and desire
Because is always
eating out more fun…
