RELATABLE - Kylie Larsen is a content creator who primarily posts TikTok makeup content.

By participating in trends, ‘GRWM’ content or more simplistic ‘get ready with me’ content, she keeps her audience entertained and interacting with her. Connecting with viewers is important as it allows influencers to gain a loyal audience. By posting one tutorial in parts, her social media platforms are gaining more traction from her audience.

ESCAPISM - Amelia Olivia is one of those influencers who seems to have a perfect life, this

allows an audience to view her videos as a form of escapism from reality. Similarly, to Sammi and Kylie, Amelia offers a friendly face and has built a strong bond with her followers thus resulting in a loyal fanbase. Her content is more tutorial-based and offers makeup advice, again resulting in her audience having confidence in her and following her tips.

VISIONARY - Niall Casey is a content creator who has a loyal audience that follows his

makeup content and transformation videos. On top of this, his style is reflective of the genderless fashion movement, which he showcases more on Instagram. This form of content creation requires clever filming techniques such as transitions, lighting and editing work. This is something I would like to explore more in my work as I feel it has a good payoff in terms of views and audience engagement.

STRIPCLUB – This croquis represents the wild, party side of my personality which will

appear in the content I post on my social media outlets. The strip club and nightclub scene heavily inspire my style and therefore will feature in the content I post. Artists such as Iggy Azalea is someone who has shaped my style in terms of pushing boundaries.

PSYCHOBITCH – From my brand me research I found that I am a very determined,

stubborn and confident person. In some settings, this can come across as quite intense and abrasive. Embracing this has allowed me to grow and protect myself in different scenarios and enabled me to stand up for myself. While some may see this as an insult, I see it as being power.

GOTHIC – Art School’s collection inspired this croquis. The brand’s genderless approach to fashion is something that I relate to and will incorporate into my own content creation. I also love the gothic elements to this, as discussed in my brand me, I have in my past work been drawn to the darker ‘uglier’ side of fashion. Artists such as Lady Gaga inspired my creativity and pushed the boundaries beyond what we consider to be ‘pretty’.

DRAG QUEEN – Bimini Bon Boulash is a well-known UK drag queen who has been

recognised as a genderless fashion ambassador. While exploring makeup Bimini does not conform to one gender. Fashion is often used as an outlet to explore and discover ourselves.

I would like to create a safe space and encourage people to feel comfortable finding themselves, in the same way Bimini has done.
