THIS SUMMER EXPLORE MORE Each year, Kitsap Regional Library invites the community to read 10-100 hours over summer and tackle a unique, personal learning goal through our summer learning challenges. We hope to hear all about your experiences and to see you at one of our upcoming virtual summer performer events. Spend your summer with the Library and learn something new. The adventure starts now.

How it Works Step 1: Choose your challenge! Check out the 10-100 Hour Reading Challenge or the Explore More Learning Challenge. If you’re feeling really adventurous this summer, try both! Step 2: From June 1-Aug. 31, plan your learning adventure and start reading. Track your progress here or connect with the challenges on desktop or mobile at KRL.beanstack.org. Step 3: Earn badges, rewards and prizes! Complete the Learning Challenge for a ticket toward our end-of-summer grand prize drawings. All entries must be submitted by Aug. 31.

Think through ideas that excite you and pinpoint something you want to try this summer. Follow the steps to plan and prepare for your journey and when you’re ready, do it! We’ll help guide you through the process of brainstorming, selecting your goal, planning and exploring it, celebrating all the small successes along the way. Complete your goal and share your experience with us for a chance to win a fabulous prize.

1. Explore Different Paths What do you want to learn or try this summer? Do you have a goal you’d like to achieve? List all your ideas.

2. Pick a Direction Out of your ideas, select one and identify your summer learning goal.

3. Get to Stepping! It’s time to go on your learning adventure. What will it take to accomplish? Plot out your steps to completion.
