Certificate in General English: Elementary to Upper Intermediate
IELTS Preparation course assists students with developing the skills necessary for successful completion of the test.
Course Details The General English Programme has been designed to enable students to improve their everyday English language skills, communicate effectively in English and prepare for future careers. This course develops the structures, vocabulary and language knowledge for operating successfully in an English speaking environment. Based around the four key skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening, the programme enables students to improve their English across all areas at the same time.
Course Detail Our IELTS course offers many tips for improving your overall English. If your goal is to learn English, our IELTS course provides upper intermediate to advanced learning which will speed up your progress. You will practise answering IELTS questions and become familiar with the types of questions in the IELTS examinations.

Course Details The practical English course covers different topics. This course focuses on speaking English. You will learn correct pronunciation, useful idioms and casual vocabulary in conversational practice activities.
NZIM Diploma in Management (level 5) Full-time 36 weeks (2 semesters) (120 credits) Course Description The Diploma in Management course consists of six papers from the NZ Diploma in Business or their equivalent in other qualifications. It focuses on business communication and management techniques. Course Outcomes Graduates will have knowledge and skills relating to general management, business communication, working in groups, applied research and leadership.
Pathway to a university degree with cross credits Successful completion of the NZIM Diploma in Management provides graduates with 1 years credit towards the New Zealand Diploma in Business at accredited private or public institutions. Different universities internationally have different policies on cross crediting, but it is possible to obtain as many as six papers as cross credits for a completed NZIM Diploma in Management.
Course Duration The NZIM Diploma in Management may be completed in two semesters of full time study. Diploma in Healthcare Studies (level 5) Full-time 36 weeks (2 semesters) (122 credits)
Course Duration One year full-time study. Intakes March, July, September Entry requirement for International students International students must be 18 years of age or over to enrol in the Diploma in Healthcare Studies. International students, where English is a second language, must have an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent with no band less than 5.0. It is expected that the student will improve the language capacity to at least a 6.0 band during the course and the student is required to attend language support classes. Students will undertake an English competency test in the first week and will attend a language support class in the first semester of the programme.

Course Aims The Diploma in Healthcare Studies aims to prepare people with the knowledge and skills required for the delivery of healthcare to patients and clients in the health, disability or community setting in accordance with Tikanga Maori. In addition, students will gain the management expertise to facilitate the delivery of service activities in the health, disability and community settings.
Diploma in Healthcare Management (level 6) Full-time 72 weeks (4 semesters) (242 credits) Course Aims The Diploma in Healthcare Management aims to provide people with comprehensive knowledge and skills required for Home/ Residential healthcare, and for health delivery patients and clients in accordance with Tikanga Maori. The course aims to assist people to develop management expertise in the service activities of welfare and community services agencies.

Accident Insurance The Accident Compensation Corporation provides accident insurance for all New Zealand citizens, residents and temporary visitors to New Zealand, but you may still be liable for all other medical and related costs. Medical and Travel Insurance International students must have appropriate and current medical and travel insurance while studying in New Zealand. Students Aged Under 18 International Students who are aged under 18 are required by the Code of Practice to live in supervised accommodation. If you are aged under 18, you are required to live with your parents, a caregiver appointed by your parents or legal guardian, or in a homestay arranged by the institutes. If you are aged under 18, you must complete the Application Form for Students Aged under 18.
Withdrawal and Refund Policy Under the Education Act, AGI is able to retain up to 25% of total fees paid for a course of three months or more, if an international student withdraws within the first 10 working days. This needs to be based on actual expenses incurred in accordance with the school invoice. The early withdraw refund rules for international students are now
