Located in the central Auckland suburb of Epsom on 16 hectares of land, the facilities include; an auditorium, water-based artificial hockey turf, six artificial turf tennis courts, an indoor sports centre, two squash courts, three pavilions, two gymnasiums, two senior cricket

wickets, one practice turf, music suite, library and an information technology block. Grammar has its own outdoor education centre at Ohakune which is 30 minutes from the skifields on Mt Ruapehu. // ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES Auckland Grammar School offers both the New Zealand National Qualification (NCEA) as well as international qualifications offered by Cambridge International Exams (CIE). CIE exams offered are: IGCSE (Year 11), AS (Year 12), A2 (Year 13) Subjects offered include: accounting, biology, business studies, chemistry, classical studies, economics, English, French, geography, graphics, history, history of art, Japanese, Latin, Spanish, maths (calculus and statistics), music, physics, practical art, physical education, design and technology. // EXCEPTIONAL NATIONAL EXAMINATION SUCCESS Nationally, our success in external national examinations over 140 years is unparalleled:  AGS has been the top achieving state school in all external exams for the past 15 years.  AGS has topped the Scholarship table for state schools for the past 15 years.
