ACCOMMODATION
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
As Burnside High School is a signatory to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students, it is a requirement that International Students live in a family home, not in a flat or boarding house. Our homestay co-ordinator will find suitable homestay accommodation for students. Students who have the school’s permission may arrange private board with friends or family living in Christchurch.
International students applying for entry must be able to demonstrate a positive attitude towards their studies, and a good level of academic achievement in their own countries. Students must be prepared to be fully involved in the cultural, sporting and social life of the school. Burnside High School is proud of the achievements of our international students and we encourage each and every one to achieve to the best of their ability while they study with us.
