The brass accents glint in the sun, the shiny effect drawing you to the structure. Its stucco finish contrasts with the accents as its texture feels rough under your fingers compared to the cold, smooth brass.
You enter the structure and find yourself in the center analyzing the light-colored pillar made of stone that resembles a mihrab from Islamic architecture.
You hear the wind howling outside thanks to the large opening above you. Slowly, but surely, the walls around you start moving clockwise as you remain in a stationary circle. ing carpet.
Element: Fire
You are walking through Fairmont, unremarkable to most, and see a new space added to the city. What caught your eye was the structure's brass accents glistening in the sunlight, bringing you closer. Once at the space, you figure out that it is a space of gathering as there are seats around a centered fire pit. You drag your hand along the sheet of brass covering one of the triangular columns to feel the smooth, cold metal under your touch.
Circling the column, your hand finds itself dragging along the inner concrete texture to feel the rough and more warm stone. You analyze the indents within the columns and see that they are for cushions that one can use around the place of gathering. Although, you notice one column's indent is different as it is not as deep as the others and holds a lit singular candle instead.
Looking at the candle again, you grab it, walk to the center of the space, and light a fire within the pit. You put the candle back and decide to sit by the fire on one of the intricate seats. You kick your shoes off and place them in the cubbies within the seat.
Once placing your feet on the pavement, you notice the warmth of your body changing the pavement's color, showing geometric designs.
Element: Water
With an umbrella in one hand to shelter you from the pouring rain of downtown Fairmont, you make your way across the flat, wet terrain. Lightning strikes across the sky, reflecting off a metal and brass structure not too far from you. Approaching the structure, you see that it is symmetric on all sides after circling it. A gutter-like system wrapping around itself is how you would describe the water catching strucYou watch as the rain glides down the brass and metal accents swiftly. With haste, you wipe the water droplets and find the metal sheets to be smooth, cold, and wet. The rain begins to lighten, allowing you to carefully listen to the water within the gutters trickle through the system until it pours out from beneath the geometric-influenced design. You watch as the water hits the paved layered concrete, not only dispersing across the pavement, but also falling in-between the scored grooves following the direction of the columns supporting the structure. You could almost smell an earthy, rock-like scent if not for the smell of rain capturing your attention throughout the experience.
