Technology
KLA’s technology impacts almost every electronic device we use. Cloud computing, big data, AI, mobile and autonomous vehicles require vast computing power. KLA is the leader of the global inspection market in the semiconductor and microelectronic industries, supporting the largest manufacturers in the world as they manufacture the most advanced, innovative and highest-quality devices. Almost every electronic device has passed through the ‘eyes’ of our systems at KLA.
History
KLA was founded in 1976 in California, and 10 years later established its Israeli branch in Migdal Ha Emek. Throughout the years, the company acquired various businesses, including Orbotech. We develop and manufacture a wide variety of solutions for microchip manufacturing, smart displays, printed circuit boards and software which supports smart manufacturing in the printed circuit boards market. We are proud to export the most advanced systems in the semiconductor and microelectronic fields from Israel to the rest of the world.
Employee Development

In addition to the daily work at the forefront of technology, we hold hackathons and innovation programs, and encourage our employees to propose new ideas and implement them, with support from our internal experts and dedicated funding.
Employee Care
We support employees during memorable moments, life challenges and special occasions. We offer a variety of programs which encourage a healthy lifestyle, sports and personal enrichment. There are programs intended for all employees, such as fun days, holiday gifts, holiday toasts and extracurricular activities. We run special family events to celebrate employees’ children starting school, celebrating the transition from childhood to youth, and finishing their studies.
Diversity
At KLA, we focus on hiring employees from various backgrounds in the belief that diversity sparks creativity and innovation. In parallel, we invest thought and time in creating an inclusive work environment, where every employee feels that they belong and are realizing their potential. We commemorate various holidays, provide our managers with tools based on Inclusive Leadership principles, and our employees enjoy activities which deepen their acquaintance with different cultures. In our Yavne site, Orcafe is managed and run by employees with disabilities.
In the last two years, our female employees have established the WISE forum (Women in STEM Empowered), to promote gender equality in our organization as well as outside, and to increase female representation at all levels of the company. In this regard, we have designed various mentoring and enrichment programs. Lately, the PRISM forum was established, which promotes a fair and safe working environment for our LGBT employees.
Community
The KLA Foundation allocates substantial budget to various non-profit organizations and our employees enthusiastically volunteer in a wide variety of social initiatives and partnerships.
