The information is stored in the Workday system and supports management with key talent management decisions, including employee development and succession planning. This data is also required if you want to apply for another position in the company, in accordance with the internal mobility policy and when time comes. Learn how to complete yourt talent profile by reviewing this job aid.

As a part of KLA’s performance management process, formal performance reviews are conducted yearly. Performance reviews allow managers to assess employees’ job performance and achievements. The performance review is a key factor in determining rewards as part of the Focal process, which includes merit (salary updates), promotions, long term incentives (LTI), and bonus (for those eligible). This also enables employees and managers to look ahead to the next year for objectives, growth and development opportunities.
The formal performance review process usually starts in November/December with employees completing their self-evaluation. It ends when the manager and employee meet to discuss the performance review in March, with rewards given to the employee at that time (Focal).
Performance management information, resources, timing, training and more is available on the Performance Management Website.

Environmental, Social and Governance Stewardship
We take our responsibility as an industry leader seriously. KLA's mission to advance humanity includes environmental, social and governance (ESG) stewardship programs that help create a more sustainable future.
By introducing programs to lower greenhouse gas emissions, conserve water and decrease waste streams, we’re working to reduce our climate impact. Currently, 52% of company-wide waste is diverted from landfills, and in 2021, we announced a goal to use 100% renewable electricity across our global operations by 2030. By making our customers’ processes more efficient, we also help reduce the use of raw materials, energy and water.
The KLA Foundation is committed to advancing humanity by investing in education with an emphasis on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), health and wellness, and community enrichment in communities where our employees live and work to help create a more equitable, inclusive and accessible world.
When KLA employees generously donate their time, talents and resources to help meet needs around the world, the KLA Foundation increases their impact. Through the Global Giving platform, employee donations to non-profits are matched dollar-for-dollar, and the Dollars for Doers program provides $10 to the non-profit of the employee’s choice for each hour of volunteer work performed. Employees are also invited to participate in various corporate-wide
fundraising campaigns for disaster relief and social equity.
Learn more about KLA’s ESG journey and read our latest Global Impact Report here.
