Used abbreviations: ch – chain sc – single crochet hdc – half double crochet dc – double crochet increase – work two single crochet in the same stitch from the round below decrease – single crochet the next two stitches togeather decrease hdc- half double crochet the next two stitches togeather sl – slip stitch turn – turn the work and crochet to the oppossite side

Pattern notes: You can use a different hook, depending what size you want the Cat to be. Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of each round. Move the marker up each time you start a new round. Numbers in brackets () means how much stitches you have in each round. Do not join at the end of each round; Most of the rounds are worked in continuous spirals.

Finished toy size: Height 32 cm, length from nosedz to tail 29 cm. It works well in any type of thread, the size of finished toy depends on the thread and crochet hook you use.

Cat’s eys: 1) Take a piece of white felt. Cut out 2 teardrop shaped pieces of white felt.

4) Take a piece of white felt. Cut out 2 round pieces of white felt (smaller than black rounds).

6) Cut out 2 black narrow lines from black felt – these will be eyelids, glue them above white teardrop shaped white felt . Cut out 8 short, narrow lines from black felt – these will be eyelashes, start to glue them in the outer corners of the eylid. See picture below.
