On a plateau at 1,400 metres in the village of Sauris, in the north-east of Italy, the Boutique Hotel Borgo Eibn Mountain Lodge which has been built out of larch wood and natural stone, combines luxury with traditional country living. In the heart of beautiful valley scenery, it offers countless possibilities for sporting fun as well as culinary or cultural enjoyment. The cosy rooms with deep pile carpets and wonderful open fireplaces offer a snug and comfortable atmosphere. A highlight is the wellness area with indoor pool, jacuzzi, saunas and steam bath. The restaurant impresses with regional dishes and a reinterpretation of traditional recipes which are accompanied by a selection of elegant wines from Friulian and Italian vineyards.
