My time at Mahavir Sound Room was nothing short of spectacular. The way they've elevated home automation to a new level with meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail is truly impressive. The in-store experience, complete with home theatres for customers to fully immerse themselves before making a purchase, adds a unique touch. Every element of the sound system is thoughtfully placed, showcasing the seamless integration of automation and luxury. Jaleel Sabir sir, Founder at Mahavir Sound Room enlightened us with a knowledgeable session of how the company started and transformed into a distinctive luxury automation store. His insights made it clear how automation seamlessly intertwines with architecture and luxury, creating a holistic and unique experience. The personal touch in his interaction and explaining each product enhanced my understanding and appreciation of their approach. -Aashwi Y21

Case Study ARTIUS EXPERIENCE CENTRE
Students from Y20 and Y21 batch Industrial visit at Artius experience centre, Hyderabad
During my visit to Artius, I was initially struck by the ambiance reminiscent of a residential setting, with wood intricately and efficiently used throughout the space. Little did I know, I was about to delve into the world of Glulam—a new emerging material. Artius, pioneering the introduction of Glulam to India, opened my eyes to its functionality and its pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future for users and clients alike. Artius, standing as the trailblazer in bringing Glulam to India, became more than a space of aesthetic appreciation; it transformed into an educational hub. Exploring the functionalities and applications of Glulam within the context of sustainability, I realized that my visit was not just about admiring craftsmanship but about witnessing a pivotal step in the industry. Today, I walk out not just impressed by the aesthetics but armed with a wealth of knowledge on this innovative material. The experience transcended the physical space, becoming a narrative of innovation, environmental consciousness, and a glimpse into the forefront of architectural advancements. -Aashwi Y21

Acoustic Odyssey
Student Note
a student's journey in the sound room Stepping into the sound room was like crossing a threshold into an architectural symphony. The precision of design manifested in the room's acoustics fascinated me. Walls seemed to breathe with sound, creating an atmosphere where auditory elements became tangible. I explored how spatial configurations influenced reverberations, altering the perception of music and speech. The architectural nuances amplified the emotional impact of sound, transcending the ordinary into an immersive experience. This encounter ignited a newfound passion for the fusion of architecture and acoustics, prompting me to reconsider how structures shape not only visual aesthetics but also the auditory landscapes within. As an architecture student, this journey into the sound room reshaped my understanding of space, inspiring a desire to integrate acoustic considerations seamlessly into future designs, transforming spaces into harmonious compositions for all the senses.

Lets learn Together PSYCHOLOGICAL ARCHITECTURE AND REHABILITATION CENTRES Architecture serves as a vessel for human stimulation, engaging the senses of touch, sound, smell, and sight. Design elements such as glazed walls, open courtyards, and healing gardens play a vital role in enhancing mental health and aiding in the rehabilitation of inmates. Ulrich identifies nature's multifaceted positive impact on well-being, linking it to physical activity, socialization, escapism, and direct cognitive influence. Healing gardens, designed to mitigate urban noise and prioritize natural lighting, contribute significantly to stress reduction and rehabilitation. The inherent beauty of nature is a potent stress-reliever, mood enhancer, and promoter of mental restoration. In the context of rehabilitation, the emphasis on ease of access, independence, and a landscape dominated by greenery positively influences inmates' well-being. This approach includes structural elements like walking paths and play areas, encouraging exercise and social interactions. A healing garden's design, with about 70% dedicated to greenery, facilitates a sense of solitude, promoting inmates' overall sense of well-being. Moreover, these spaces become platforms for emotional support and social interaction among inmates and visitors. The inclusion of running water and natural sounds in healing garden design not only contributes to sensory engagement but also reduces external noise, creating therapeutic focal points. In sum, architectural designs that integrate nature and prioritize sensory experiences have the potential to foster holistic well-being and aid in the rehabilitation of individuals in various settings. - Ar.
