Press Release
Konica Minolta shows digital transformation on CeBIT 2015 Langenhagen/Germany, 10th March, 2015 For the first time, Konica Minolta is back again with its own booth at the CeBIT in Hanover from 16-20 March (Hall 3 / Booth D36). The main topics in hall 3 – Input / Output Solutions and Enterprise Content Management – also reflect the expertise of Konica Minolta in the IT sphere. With Managed Content Services (MCS), the company has further strengthened its services in the growing market of ECM. This year’s CeBIT motto of “d!conomy”, describing the digital transformation of the economy and society, as well as the IT trend topics of “Big data”, “Cloud” and “Mobility” will also be set into focus by Konica Minolta with its fair appearance in hall 3. Those trends change the role of the IT infrastructure. By now, the IT department constitutes the backbone of companies and therefore has an important strategic relevance. In view of the growing flood of information and data, it is their job to keep the companies internally efficient and thus externally competitive. Therefore it is essential for the productivity of companies to gain high-quality information from the mostly unstructured and non-classified contents. In addition, the IT department must ensure trouble-free flows of information and business processes across the whole company. Konica Minolta has got the answers to these challenges and has chosen the slogan of “Let documents flow” for its fair appearance. At its booth, the company showcases tangible customer benefits for individual departments by means of typical workflows and solutions modules. For this purpose, segments such as Enterprise Search, Smart Cloud Services, Contract Management, EMail Management and Invoice Management will be displayed at eight workstations, including a show zone for live presentations. Along with this, the manufacturer-neutral Process Consulting of Konica Minolta will be presented. As a central consulting service, it ensures that all optimisation steps are coordinated to fit seamlessly in an enterprise-wide overall IT structure in order to support the efficiency of the whole business process. “As a world-leading major IT fair, the CeBIT offers Konica Minolta the optimal environment to showcase our dedicated expertise and know-how as an IT service provider for Managed Content Services and digital business processes. Our portfolio encompasses all components to meet all the IT demands of companies and implement them. Our expectations regarding our CeBIT appearance is that our profile will be raised considerably as an IT service
