Konica Minolta awarded Top Position in the Quality Management Level Research by JUSE Langenhagen/Germany, 1st December 2014 Konica Minolta, Inc. (Konica Minolta) has been awarded the top position in the eighth Quality Management Level Research by the Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers (JUSE). JUSE conducts an independent evaluation of up-to-date quality management based on six factors that demonstrates the commitment and practice to enhance quality. More than 600 companies mainly from manufacturing industries in Japan are included in the research. Konica Minolta received the highest ranking in the assessment of “customer centricity” and “capability to take good system into other parts of the company,” among a set of six factors 1 to evaluate systematic programmes toward quality improvement and the status of ongoing activities. In addition, the company was among the top three in the assessment of “development of human resources to execute quality management” and “management of security, safety and trust.” Konica Minolta’s corporate activities have been based on thoroughly customercentric ideas and actions and pursuit of enhanced values for customers. Furthermore, the company has globally implemented systems and programs to improve quality in each process of development, production sales and services.
