Sisters
I met sisters Rachel and Sarah quite some time ago when Rachel approached me about job shadowing me during her friend’s senior session. Since then, Rachel has assisted on several of my stylized photo shoots and Sarah has kept constant watch on my facebook page, always adding encouraging words to her favorite images and videos. I have been wanting to get these girls in front of my camera for some time and when I noticed the gorgeous fall leaves outside, I took to my sewing machine and created the fabulous couture dress the girls are modeling in their session. I wanted the session to focus on the relationship between sisters, a relationship I have had the privilege of witnessing for the last twenty-some years with my own younger sister. The relationship between sisters is a lovely one of respect, fierce protection, and unconditional love. No matter the age difference, how far apart they are located, and how much time has passed, sisters can always pick up right where they left off as if they hadn’t been parted for even a moment. The love of a sister is forever.
