IT STRATEGY Collecting – people upload songs to the website Organizing – the data is categorized under the artists name Analyzing – tags are added to allow searches to be made Storing and retrieving – the data is stored on the server where it can be retrieved through users searching in the Grooveshark website Processing – Adding new songs and making data changes to existing songs Transmitting and receiving – The server uses internet connection to stream music to the users computer Displaying – the sound is played through the speakers

STORE song is stored in database under the tagged genres


INPUT user clicks on site skin ad for artist/ listens to the song/ rates the song/ writes a message about the song

PROCESS click tracking is paired with user info and is analyzed and calculated

OUTPUT the artist has access to a : series of graphs that represent who/how many listeners are clicking on ad

STORE information is stored in the artist promotion database
