REMARKS

FROM YOUR MARKET DIRECTOR

Thank you, Sarah Benken, and The KNOW Women for this amazing opportunity and choosing me as your 2022 Phoenix Market Director. I am very excited for this journey! KNOW Women has represented the positive effect of having more women in leadership positions. Through strong engagement and connection women are expanding on bigger levels! The KNOW Book is a publication that brings more attention to each woman and spotlights their achievements. This year’s book launch is being captured in such a unique way; celebrating the fabulous females, who they are and the impact they are making! My hope for all the women in this book is to pioneer and advocate for one another and ourselves. We can use this time to have a voice, be a mentor, and as the KNOW Women states, Lift & Rise, together!

It seemed like a crazy time to launch a new business, but they had both worked for large marketing and PR agencies in the past and instinctively knew that there was a way to make clients and employees happier. Both women shared a clear, persistent vision on how to do the agency thing differently and how to do it better. So, that’s precisely what they did. Chestnut @ The Vintage is a thriving hangout enjoyed by everyone who wants a delicious breakfast, a healthy salad, or even those celebrating birthdays, showers, and weddings. Kirsten

Arcadia’s

local

eatery,

bar, and hangout spot Chestnut @ The Vintage. She opened her new location on February 1, 2020, after closing the doors to her previous location of six years, a mere ten days earlier. Her tenacity and pure and utter grit were put to the test only six weeks later when restaurants were closed to the public across the state and country. Focused on her community’s unwavering support, Chestnut persevered! Now, it is a thriving hangout enjoyed by everyone who wants a delicious breakfast, a healthy salad, or even those celebrating birthdays, showers, and weddings, as there are not one but two event spaces located on-site. Outside of work, Kirsten loves to spend time with her husband and kids and spin, swim, lift and hike! Her motto: life is too short, get moving!
