Launched in 2017, The KNOW WomenTM began as a way to bring more attention to dynamic women doing remarkable things in the Phoenix metro. We knew there were an outstanding number of women impacting the community and making big strides in their industries. Our goal was to get those women out from behind their computer screens and into the public eye. Thus, we created the KNOW Book, a carefully curated publication that would feature vision-led women in a glamorous and authentic style. As the momentum grew and we recognized the need for more, we launched our Collaborative around the women featured in our KNOW Book. Our mix & mingles soon ensued and we witnessed incredible things happening. We saw our women doing business with each other, creating friendships, supporting each other, collaborating on projects together, and so much more. What started as a fun project to spotlight women, has turned into a full-blown movement. The KNOW WomenTM has expanded beyond its birthplace of Phoenix, Arizona; its aim is to launch in every major city across the United States and Canada.

This past year, Tampa Bay has been dubbed, “Champa Bay”. This new identity is because our sports teams dominate! Our professional sports teams have worked extremely hard to achieve their goals to become champions. When I look through our KNOW books, I see other reasons for Tampa Bay to be well known. The women in our KNOW books are professionals in their own fields. They are determined to reach their goals and any opposition better get out of the way! This group of women, that make up the “KNOW Team”, are Champions in the Tampa Bay Community as well! My experience with KNOW has been amazing! Deborah has spent the last decade growing institutions to meet the needs of today’s students such as launching “America’s Online Community College” and participating in the construction of new academic spaces totaling over $100 million. Deborah joined Hillsborough Community College as its Brandon Campus President in January 2021. In addition to academia, her experience includes over a decade of Business Law practice. Deborah has a deep commitment to the Tampa Bay community serving as a Board Member of the Tampa Bay Chamber, Brandon Chamber, HCC Foundation, Brandon Community Advantage Center, and Angel Foundation. She also freelances for the agriculture magazine, In the Field Magazine, which is based in Plant City, Fla. She has a monthly column called Enduring Florida and she covers Hillsborough and Polk Counties for the agriculture magazine. Libby has been a part of the museum and non-profit world for more than 13 years. She has held positions at MOSI, Glazer Children’s Museum and was on the Board of Trustees of Tampa Museum of Art. The Angel Foundation FL Liz Brewer has served at the Angel Foundation FL since 2004. In 2006, she launched the Foundation Angel Program to bring together businesses and individuals to serve local families. In 2014, Liz was appointed President, Executive Director and in 2021, was appointed to CEO. The foundation helps families while in crisis due to a life threatening illness or catastrophic event. They have given over $2 million in grants, services and goods to families and other non-profit organizations in the Greater Brandon community. Liz has co-authored two books, “Yes, God” and “In Her Shoes, Women Who Lead”, and her own book “I Am The Answer, My Pathway to Joy”, after experiencing her journey through grief after the sudden loss of loved ones. Liz is a passionate follower of Jesus, Wife and Mom, and it is her passion to serve others through her God-given gifts to help others create their best life. Stacey Efaw is the Executive Director of Selah Freedom, a non-profit organization focused on prevention, rescue and rehabilitation of victims of sex-trafficking. Stacey attended the University of South Florida, where she received her bachelor’s degree in business management and her MBA. Stacey grew up in a military family. She came to the Tampa Bay area in the late 80’s when her family was stationed at MacDill AFB. She has over 20 years non-profit leadership experience and is passionate about helping others by ensuring that non-profits grow and succeed. Stacey began her non-profit career as the Executive Director at ECHO of Brandon. She then served as Executive Director at the Humane Society of Pinellas. Her next non-profit role was as the Chief Development Officer at Habitat for Humanity in Pinellas and West Pasco, the 2nd largest Habitat in the US. Stacey has two amazing daughters and an awesome rescue lab mix dog.

This led her to discover her gifts to lead other women into living their full potential by unveiling their true selves and inspiring them towards their dreams through her published book, workshops and her mentorship classes.Currently, she is an executive leader of The Resting Place Church and is the co-founder of TRP Prophetic Company, the founder of Prophetic Perspectives, as well as the Director of the Leadership School at The Resting Place Church. She is pioneering what it looks like for women to lead and build entrepreneurially inside the church. Tracy makes room for her passions of travel with her husband of 32 years and her three young adult children. Family is at the very core which allows her to pursue every dream in her heart. Family, travel, community equals a fulfilled life!

She is the Founder of Heart Dance Foundation, a non-profit providing hope to exploited men, women, and children in Tampa Bay. She is in partnership with The NOMORE Foundation and is the Chair of the SAFE Alliance of Tampa Bay, working to resolve system gaps for trafficking survivors.
THE HONORABLE MONIQUE M. SCOTT East Circuit, Divisions S & U East County Criminal, Division P East County Civil, Division Q Monique Scott is a former law enforcement officer, teacher, prosecutor and first generation American and Tampa native. Her law enforcement career was cut short due to her medical disability, epilepsy. This would propel her to become an advocate for those effected by epilepsy. She serves on three boards including the Sheriff’s Hispanic Advisory Council and serves several community organizations. Monique enjoys sharing her inspiration through mentoring high school, college and law school students.
