Kilsyth and Bulleen head into round 2 in contrasting form. The Cobras had a comfortable victory over Southern, while Bulleen lost by 65 points to Ringwood in round 1. Diamond Valley and Hawthorn will want to bounce back from disappointing results last week when they square off at Diamond Valley Sports Fitness Centre on Saturday night. The top sides in the two conferences square off when Bendigo host Nunawading on Saturday night. Southern Sabres will look to win their second game of the season when they travel to Dandenong. Knox tasted a victory and defeat in round one, while Melbourne recorded a 15-point victory over Ballarat. Ringwood recorded a 65-point win in the opening round, while Sunbury ended last week with a win over Waverley. Altona will want to bounce back from their defeat in round one when they host Dandenong, who will play their second game on the weekend. Melbourne and Bendigo return to the court on Sunday afternoon at MSAC, with both side’s scheduled for a backto-back this weekend. Waverley play their first game of the weekend when they travel to face the Southern Sabres. The Falcons lost by four points to Sunbury last week in a tight contest. Nunawading and Kilsyth play their second games of the weekend when they face off on Sunday afternoon. Hawthorn and Ballarat will return to the court on Sunday at the Boroondara Sports Complex. Bulleen host Hume City in the final game of the weekend. The Boomers will return home after travelling to Kilsyth for the opening game of the round. Sherbrooke and Keilor will be vying for their first win of the season when they kick off round two on Saturday night, after both sides fell to defeats over the opening weekend. Bulleen and Blackburn head into round two off the back of defeats in round one. The Boomers lost to Knox, while the Vikings lost by 71 points to the Rangers. Kilsyth and McKinnon enter round two buoyed by victories in the first week of the season. Diamond Valley and Hawthorn combined for 220 points in the opening weekend and could be on course for a shootout when they meet on Saturday night. Waverley head to Ringwood in good form after victory in round one, while the Hawks will hope to bounce back from a 30-point loss to Eltham. Dandenong will be favourites in their game against Ringwood, after they recorded a 71-point win in round 1, while the Hawks will be hoping to bounce back from their 40-point round one defeat. Knox and Melbourne head into their clash off the back of victories in round one. Melbourne will then face the Dandenong the following day at MSAC, as both sides play back-to-back’s. Nunawading and Kilsyth square off on Sunday at 2pm at the Nunawading Basketball Stadium. Southern Sabres enter round 2 off the back of a 137-125 win over Hawthorn in round 1. The Sabres will face Bulleen who will play their second game on the weekend. Fatigue could play a role in Hawthorn vs Ringwood as both sides face back to back games. McKinnon face an Eltham side fresh off the back of a 30-point win in round one. Keilor and Diamond Creek conclude the weekend at the Keilor Basketball Stadium.
