Melbourne host Keilor to open the round at MSAC. The Tigers are sitting pretty in second place and are coming off a 33-point win over Blackburn last week. They meet a Keilor team that have lost their last two but will be looking to make a push into the top four. Blackburn host Sherbrooke to continue the Saturday card in a bottom two clash in the Terrill conference. The Suns are on an 18-game losing streak and could have their best opportunity in recent times to end that, while the Vikings have dropped their last eight. Diamond Valley and Knox clash in a top four Terrill conference clash. The Eagles take good form into the game, winning four of their last five, including two in a row. Eltham host Nunawading at Eltham High School in a massive top three clash in the Watson conference. The Wildcats look unstoppable right now, riding a fierce 12-game winning streak to hold the best record in either division. Waverley and Kilsyth butt heads with the former looking to make a top four push down the stretch of the season. The Falcons would need a lot to go their way but have now won three in a row. Kilsyth are 5-4 on the road this season. Ringwood and Hawthorn open the Sunday card at The Rings, as the Hawks look to consolidate second place. Ringwood’s form has been a little patchy of late, dropping three of their last five. Despite sitting second last in the Watson conference, the Magic sit at a respectful 8-11 overall. McKinnon and Melbourne meet at GESAC in an inter conference matchup. The Cougars bring the fresh legs into the game and are riding a three-game winning streak. Keilor and Blackburn do battle at the Keilor Basketball Stadium as the Thunder look to continue their playoff push. Both sides will be coming off Saturday games. Southern and Eltham face off at Southern Basketball Stadium in a matchup between sides at either end of the Watson ladder. Despite their poor record, Southern have won three of their last five. Bulleen and Dandenong close out the fixture at East Doncaster Secondary College in the first game of the round for both teams. The Rangers are sitting on the top of the Terrill conference but have dropped their last three. Meanwhile the Boomers’ season is all but over, but they did get a win over Sherbrooke last week.
