KNOX BASKETBALL GAMES COMMISSIONER: MICHAEL CAMERON

NEXT GAME

Sunbury and Kilsyth kick off the action with both teams looking to bounce back from losses. The Cobras split their games last weekend, ousting McKinnon before falling to Nunawading, while the Jets narrowly went down to the Hawks by four points. Bulleen and Diamond Valley clash as the former still searches for their first win of the season. The Boomers have been blown out in all three of their games, while the Eagles are coming off a nice 71-49 win over Hawthorn. Hume City and Nunawading meet in a blockbuster clash with both sides undefeated. The Broncos will be confident after smashing the Boomers 121-35 last week, while the Spectres have found a way to win in three close results. Dandenong and Knox go head-to-head as neither side is yet to get on the winners board this season. The Rangers will like their chances at home against a Rangers outfit who have really struggled in the early parts of 2019. Hawthorn and Bendigo do battle at the Boroondara Sports Complex with a potential top four spot on the line by the end of the round. The Braves are currently riding a two-game losing streak but were competitive in both matches. Waverley and Melbourne round out Saturday’s action in an inter-conference matchup. Waverley remain without a win and will have their work cut out for them against a surging undefeated Tigers team that lead the Terrill division. Altona meet Southern in a clash of the heavyweights and both sides coming off two-game winning streaks. A win would solidify a top two-position for either team. Melbourne and Hawthorn come out for their second clash of the weekend. Should the Tigers take care of Waverley on Saturday, they could be edging towards a 4-0 start to the season. Ballarat and Bulleen meet as the the Rush look to capitalise on having the fresh legs against the Boomers. Both sides are still searching for their first win of 2018. Knox and Sunbury face off as both sides look to pick up some momentum for the season. Sunbury could catapult into the playoff picture with a win here. Nunawading and Ringwood cap off the round in what has the makings of a thriller, as both teams could still be undefeated.
