KNOX BASKETBALL GAMES COMMISSIONER: MICHAEL CAMERON
NEXT HOME GAME
Bendigo and Kilsyth open up round nine in a blockbuster clash at Bendigo Stadium. With both sides sitting in the top three in their respective conferences, fans will be treated to an exciting matchup. Southern and Ringwood clash at Southern Basketball Stadium in another massive inter-conference battle. The Sabres are sitting second at 8-4, while the Hawks are on top and coming off their first loss of the season at 9-1. Diamond Valley meet Melbourne at the Diamond Valley Sports Fitness Centre in a first v fifth clash. The Tigers are first in the Terrill conference but are coming off a loss against Sunbury last week. They are yet to drop a game on the road this season. The Eagles are on a three-game losing streak. Nunawading meet Bulleen with what looks on paper to be a one-sided affair. The Spectres are travelling along nicely in second place and coming off a blowout victory over Ballarat. Meanwhile, the Boomers are still yet to get their first win on the board at 0-12. Hume City and Altona meet with both sides looking to build momentum off wins last week. The Broncos have split their games this season at 5-5, while Altona are 5-4. The Gators come right back for their second clash of the round against a fresh Hawthorn outfit on Sunday. The Magic have dropped three of their last four and have only one road win this season. Sunbury host Ballarat at the Boardman Stadium to continue the Sunday fixture and both sides will be fresh for their first game of the round. The Rush are riding a five-game losing streak. Ringwood host Dandenong at The Rings in a first v fourth clash. The Rangers are riding a five-game win streak and would be confident of taking down the top team. Waverley and Bendigo clash in what looks like an easy win for the Braves. The Falcons are 2-9 while the Braves could be searching for their fifth straight win. Knox and Diamond Valley close out the round at the State Basketball Centre. The Raiders come in for their first game of the round, sitting 5-5 and coming off a loss to Kilsyth last week.
