Nunawading and Southern kick off Round 13 in an exciting inter-conference clash. The Sabres remain second in the Terrill conference boasting a 11-6 record, while the Spectres sit atop the Watson conference with a 14-3 record, having won their last four matches. Hawthorn host Altona as the Magic’s woes in their 2019 campaign continue. Hawthorn succumbed to their fifth straight loss last round, going down to Kilsyth by 20 points. Knox host a resurgent Waverley on Saturday evening. The Falcons have won their last five matches and will be looking to leapfrog the Raiders, who narrowly sit above Waverley on percentage, albeit with a game in hand. In another inter-conference matchup, Ringwood come up against Diamond Valley at The Rings on Saturday evening. The Hawks sit third in the Watson conference but with some inconsistent efforts over the last month, while the Eagles have won three straight in the Terrill conference as they look to salvage something from their 2019 campaign. Ballarat and Hawthorn meet each other with both sides desperate to put an end to their winning drought. The Magic have lost five straight, while the Rush has lost an astonishing 12 straight matches but went agonisingly close against Bendigo last round, losing by just three points. Sunbury and Waverley face off on Sunday morning at Boardman Stadium in a bottom-of-the-table clash. Alyssa Weston and Nyakoang Lok have been crucial to the Falcons resurgence, ranking fourth and fifth in the league for total match points, with 216 and 208 respectively. Hume City and Kilsyth face off in what appears to be a fairly lop-sided match up on paper. The Cobras have won four of their last five matches and sit second on the ladder, while the Broncos have won one of their last five matches and are at risk of being leapfrogged by Waverley for sixth place. Ringwood travel to Dandenong in an exciting top four clash between both sides. The Rangers rank second in the league for points scored, but also rank second in the league for points against, and will want to tidy that up against an offensively composed Hawks outfit. Melbourne host Nunawading at MSAC on Sunday in an enticing clash between two well-performing sides. Melbourne’s Katie Bugden sits second in the league for total match points, with 290. Southern and Knox go back-to-back as they face off on Sunday afternoon. Expect Chloe Hicks to be a threat for the Sabres; shes produced 66 assists so far this season. It’s top versus bottom when Bulleen and Bendigo face off to finish Round 13. The Boomers have had just the one win in season 2019 to date, and will be hoping for a miracle when they come up against the Braves.

The round kicks off at Nunawading Basketball Stadium where the streaking Spectres host the Boomers. Nunawading has won their past six games and hold a neat 6-2 record at home this season. Bulleen will be looking to snap a threegame losing streak. Sherbrooke and McKinnon meet in a contest between two sides that have had disappointing seasons. After winning their first two games, the Suns are on a 15-game losing streak, while the Cougars have dropped their last three. Knox and Hawthorn do battle at the State Basketball Centre with plenty at stake for both teams. The Raiders are second in the Terrill conference, however have a number of sides on their tail, whilst the Magic need to start winning games to stay in touch with the top four. Hawthorn come right back on Sunday in a home clash against the fresh Waverley. The Falcons have dropped their last five to sit sixth in the Watson conference and are quickly falling out of the playoff picture. Blackburn meet Nunawading to continue the Sunday fixture at Mullum Mullum Stadium. The Spectres return after opening the round against Bulleen, while the Vikings come in fresh and will look to bounce back from a five-game losing streak. Keilor and Eltham clash in an exciting inter-conference battle. The Wildcats are on a red-hot 10-game winning streak with no signs of slowing down. But the Thunder are not to be taken lightly, having won their last two and fighting to push into the top four. Dandenong and Kilsyth clash at the Dandenong Basketball Stadium in a first v fourth inter-conference clash. The Rangers have been flying and are yet to drop a game at home this season, but the Cobras are a neat 11-6 and will be no walkover. Melbourne and Diamond Valley continue the Sunday fixture in a blockbuster top four clash in the Terrill conference. The Tigers are actually weaker at home - where they hold just a 3-5 record - as the Eagles search for their fourthstraight win. Southern and Knox fight it out in what looks to be a one-sided affair. The Raiders are 10-5 and have won four of their past five. The Sabres sit dead last in the Watson comp with just three wins, but have been playing better recently. Bulleen and Ringwood cap off the round at East Doncaster Secondary College. Ringwood bring fresh legs into the conference and will look to consolidate second place.
